I really want to love this boot. I ordered a size up as recommended by others and they are still extremely tight in the toe box and across the arch. Otherwise I can tell that they'd be incredibly comfortable if the fit was correct. I waited too long to return them, so I'm trying to stretch them in hopes that they will be wearable.UPDATE: I removed the insole in the both shoes and they are perfect. The insole adds easily a half size. Made a huge difference. Will try a thinner insole for comfort.
I go between flip flops and heals. When I found these, I was gagged. These are so cool to pop on with leggings to go to the grocery store, especially when the weather is "iffy". These are just a little snug on me, but are comfortable. There has not been a day since I bought these that I didn't get a compliment when I was wearing.
These are very stylish. I love the look. Unfortunately, the zipper on the left shoe does not work properly. I ordered another style Bernie Mev, and it has the same problem with a zipper. These are the only Bernie Mev's I have ever tried, so they are batting 100% defective in my experience. No matter how cute they are, if they aren't functional, they are worthless.
These are SOOO comfortable. The elastic moves but not so much as to be sloppy. Just the right bit of heel so I don't feel like a shrimp (I'm the short mom among towering daughters). I can even run in them when I have to catch the dog. They go just high enough on the ankle to hide my fun or mismatched socks under the legs of my pants. Don't hesitate to buy these.
Gave this shoe 2 stars because it looks great but the insole feels as hard as rock despite claims of memory foam. My older Bernie Mev slip-ons have a soft cushiony insole that makes the shoe so comfortable and all day wearable. I wish they had transferred the same material to this shoe. This shoe feels like you are walking on a board, so it is definitely being returned.
This is my 2nd pair of Bernie Mev's shoes. The first pair is super comfy, a size 39 and I saw another style and I thought, If they're as comfy as the first pair I bought....I'm sold! Unfortunately, I had to send the 2nd pair back for being too small. I finally got my size 40 and a much better fit! The only reason it got a 4 instead of a 5 is that now I don't feel comfortable getting the correct size in the various styles.
The shoe/boot is a great style but they are MUCH too small than what’s stated. I wear an 8-1/2 shoe US and bought a size 40 (9-1/2-10) because of reviews and my toes hit the tip of the shoe. Very uncomfortable! I returned them immediately! Also, the zipper didn’t zip up easily! I really wanted the boot, the design is great! They need to manufacture them a little better!
I read the reviews and sized up. I usually wear a 9 and fit guide says to order 9, but I ordered a size 41. Glad I did because they just fit. They’re super light and comfy. The zipper on one stuck a little, but seems to be working ok now. So far, I’m happy with the purchase.
