These boots have been so much fun to wear and do a great job when sloshing through puddles. They do run small and fit snugly around the ankle and top of my foot. Buy at least a half size bigger. They are not snow boots, however. Your feet will freeze if you venture out in the snow wearing them.
I received these boots the other day and was able to wear them yesterday, since it rained. They protected my feet from the wet and puddles. They are also very cute to look at. Love that they are lower on my calf than the traditional higher rain boots. The only reason for 4 stars is like some other comments, they are a bit tight with socks. I am a size 9. There are no half sizes and I'm sure if I sized up to a 10, they would have been too big. I wore them with a trouser sock and they were comfortable.
I ordered one size larger and the fit was perfect. The boots are good quality and very comfortable. Great buy!
I have very high arches (as in, can't wear most t-strap sandals, etc.), and I couldn't even get my foot into these boots. The low ankle style cuts the boot much closer to the top of the foot. That said, I was very sad they didn't fit. The print is cheerful without being too bright.
I usually wear an 8/8.5, and based on the reviews, I went with the size 9. It still seemed a little tight on the width to wear with liner socks, but length was perfect. Then again, my feet are a little wide. Also, the tread is pretty weak, and it feels like your walking on the ground (ala flats). The quality seemed low (thin rubber). I'm tired of buying rain boots that aren't going to last long. Worth the price if you feel like buying replacements on the reg.On a less important note, I felt like I had no ankles in these. Still the print is adorable, just not the right style for me and my feet, I guess. Will be returning.
These came quickly as promised. I had read that it would be best to order one size larger and am very glad that I did. I would purchase these again
I normally wear an 8.5 shoe, so I expected that these size 9s would be plenty big, even with a heavy sock. However, they are snug even with a thin sock on. Fortunately, they do fit. I just have to be careful about the socks I wear with them. Otherwise, they are a good quality boot.
I love these little batik boots. They have a good fit,look pretty stylish and can be taken in the shower for a good cleaning. Last but not least, they not only are good for working in the yard, but also for walking in rain puddles.Do check and see if you can buy similar boots for less.
