In reading the other reviews, folks said that these boots run narrow, which is true! So I ordered the wide, and this was the correct choice. When wearing normal socks, there was plenty of room, but when wearing thick winter socks, the boots were snug (but not tight) - note, I have a normal width foot, too.These boots are comfortable - I walked around the city in them for legitimate miles with ease. They're warm without being hot. They have a good amount of cushioning, though I think they could do with a tiny bit more arch support. Even so, they're still good boots. They look nice, and go well with jeans, leggings, etc. The one thing I don't love is that the zippers are on the outer leg side rather than inward. But this is just a small inconvenience.All in all: these are worth buying.
I rarely write reviews but these are so awesome I had to write one. Fit exactly as size stated, they are soft and comfortable with decent arch support and nice cushion…it truly is cloud stepper! I actually struggle with shoes as my one foot is bigger than the other with flatfoot on the bigger foot. I was easily able to slip a filler in the shoe of smaller foot with good fit. Often my heel slips out of shoes but no problem with these. They appear to be excellent quality. They’re attractive and I wear with jeans shopping all day long without any foot complaints.
Wanted leather Shooties I love the look of Brown with Denim- but have wide-ish feet and most toe boxes way too narrow pointed-even Scholls.So ordered these instead im a 10 they fit a little tight in the toe area. The heel is nicely cushioned when you step back on it but the front of foot cushioning is lacking, unfortunately so the overall support is uneven.I like the unusual style( would be great for a role play costume)-the side zip on one side and the elastic on the other.Definitely dont like the material and look of the outer heel padding kinda looks like its going to get bits of sock fabric/dirt that youll have to pluck off. Not sure why this type of ugly fabric was used.Bought for a Fall trip so not sure how its going to work out sock wise. Hopefully they will stretch a bit.Will probably get a backup pair of Skechers which i know will work.Came in box with one shoe zip open and plastic shoe bag on bottom of box and shoes not placed right so obviously a return and Amazon couldnt be bothered to tidy it up!
I bought a pair in brown after buying black. They offer a lot of ankle support as well as overall foot support. I've had Grey Clark Cloudsteppers for years. These are a different design and even more comfortable. The sizing is perfect.
Ordered size 6 medium but was too narrow. Returned them and ordered 6 wide. They fit well. Size 6 is what I normally wear.
I have narrow feet so I didn't let other reviews influence me much. I love (or used to love) Clarks shoes. I received these from a hard-working Amazon driver on an extremely cold day and was excited to wear them until I tried to put them on. The length was spot on but good lord are they narrow! They zipped up fine but my feet immediately started cramping up and I was hopping around the living room trying to get them off! Needless to say, I wasn't about to give them a second chance. They went right back to Amazon.I found a pair of Eastlands and got them to "try before you buy" and they are FABULOUS! Sorry Clarks, you lose.
Love these boots! So comfortable that I could wear them all the time, but I’ve only had them for less than a month, and the right boot zipper keeps splitting open while wearing them. They’re not too tight so that’s not the problem. I think there was a defect in the zipper. So far I’ve been able to unzip to remove & can re-zip normally, but every time I wear them it splits open at some point. Hopefully my foot doesn’t get stuck in them someday that I’ll have to cut the zipper out! Would definitely buy another pair, but am hesitant due to this issue.
This is my second pair of Clarks in this style and I will not buy a different brand. I work retail in a grocery store and I walk anywhere from 15,000 to 17,000 plus steps a day on average on grocery store floors and by the end of my 8 hour shift my feet do not hurt. This is perfect for when you have to dress up as your uniform but want comfort as well. Highly recommend! Better than my tennis shoes.
