I really like these boots. Wasn't sure whether to order 8.5 or 9 - went with 8.5 and they are perfect. They are a little tight-feeling as I put them on, but once my foot is in there, they are comfy. I think they look great - just what I was looking for.
I bought theses boots in my usual size (7M). The fit was perfect and, because they are leather, they do stretch slightly after wearing them for a day. I sprayed them with a water and stain repellent and these boots were perfect for walking all over town during a snowytrip to New York City.The heel height is ideal for providing support and style. Highly recommend.
I put these on and just wore them with zero break in time. They fit me like a glove. They are cute and stylish, and they are so comfortable.
I ordered a pair in size 9, which is what careful measuring indicated, and which I usually buy in boots.They were much too big for me. Not just something a pair of my winter socks made wearable.I could have returned them, but they fit my daughter who has larger feet, so I gave them to her.There is a streak of blond instead of dark tan leather on top, and a patch the size of a nickel to quarter on the side. I don’t know if dark tan shoe polish will help, but I have ordered a can, from Amazon..I ordered a second pair in size 8.5 for myself. I wore them with thin socks. There was enough wiggle room to wear warmer socks once it gets cold here. There are no blemishex on them. I walked a mile in them with no breaking in period, and found them comfortable. I have neuropathy and lower spine issues, so finding shoes that make walking comfortable enough is not easy.Also, there is room to add a double foam insole insert, if in the future I feel the need to do so. There is more room around my (admittedly small) ankle area than I would have preferred.But as it was, getting my foot in them will be easier with a shoehorn. So I bought a pair of shoehorns for us. I wanted them for my bightops anyway.If I had not worn them so far I would have exchanged them for a pair I could lace closer around my ankle.Amazon made more sales to me than I had anticipated..
Boots are very cute, look well made and a nice height, but they were tight on my foot. I don't know if it is because they may be narrow, or they run small. Sadly, I had to return them since they did not fit right. I normally wear a size 8 without any issues.
This boot is nice leather (once it is oiled) and I like the sole. I took off one star because the boot runs quite small and narrow. Also, the sole does have padding but no real arch support...I added arch cushions and that helped a lot.
