These boots are cuter in real life than in the pictures online in my opinion. They seem to be good quality. They are a little cushy on the inside like other Clark's shoes I have purchased. I wish I could find them in a dark brown too. I dig 'em!
Love these boots. They dress up but are also functional in semi -icy conditions. Not great if totally wet and snowing but great for a nice look with jeans but practical for traction. Plus they are very comfortable
Love the basic, classic look you can wear with jeans or skirts. The most comfortable shoes as soon as I wore them. No breaking in needed.
These boots run true to size. They look and feel great. After all, they are Clark’s!
These gave been great since wearing a little over a month! Sizing is my normal size, holding up well and comfortable! Very pleased!!
I agree with another review, saying there's no reference to being constructed from leather. It certainly doesn't look/feel like the usual thicker quality of leather the brand had been known for. Also, I found the the sizing a bit tighter across my foot than what I usually get from Clarks. I have a feeling this will eventually stretch and fit better with use. Though my boots looked new/unused, I noticed a small length of the zipper teeth had to be realigned (after much struggle) to get the zipper to work properly on the left boot. Again, this isn't the usual Clarks quality. Nice looking boot and otherwise comfy, but wish it had the old quality of construction I was expecting. I think these boots will probably last 5 years, if I'm careful.
I am not a fan of shoes online purchase, because I have to check comfortability before purchase, but I risked trying this one because it had a great discount and I could not find suitable short boots at shops. I am glad that I purchased this piece, it is very comfortable and fantastic in rainy and cold weather. My shoe size is 8, so I ordered 8 wide which is perfect for me. I also like the color, it is true black.
I had been looking for a nice pair of winter boots that I were dressy enough to wear to work and would still look nice with jeans. It's hard to find a pair that meets both of those qualities and is comfortable. The first day I wore them for about two hours. They did rub a small amount on the heel. The next day I wore them for 8+ hours with no complaints. I have noticed one boot squeaks occasionally. I am always a big fan of Merrell boots. These are a close comparison.
