This is a really high quality leather boot. Great arch support, great traction/ durable looking sole. I got it in black and the leather looks great. Pretty buckles/ straps. Despite the significant heel, the walk is so comfortable and supported. I usually wear an 8.5M, however I went 1 size up and got a 9.5 (on an absolutely steal sale price might I add of only $17 with a $130 msrp!!). The fit is now perfect with some slightly thicker cotton socks. There isn't a lot of side room. If your feet are wide at all or you have thicker ankles, this might definitely be a problem for you and the shoe could pinch your foot/ ankle but these fit me perfectly with my medium/ slightly more boney/ narrow foot and ankle. With my frame, it isn't too hard for me to get into these with the zipper down. They're snug from the sides and help me feel more supported. In terms of length, I still have 1.5 cm or so free space in toe box. Never thought I'd be buying a 9.5, but it fit great and the price and quality was just wow... If you know what you're doing with the sizing issue, these shoes are a steal. I love the stable height it gives me and the comfort. Stylish and durable looking.
Love these boots! I must admit, however, that they were narrow & SUPER TIGHT right out of the box. They were actually painful as the top of the boots cut into my ankles. Knowing they are genuine leather, I decided to wear them with thick wool socks around the house for a few uncomfortable hours hoping to break them in a bit. They loosened just enough to mold to my feet & ankles perfectly! They are so very comfortable now that I don't even notice I'm wearing them. The heel is higher than most of my booties, but it's a thick, clunky heel, & I don't find the height an issue. If you like the look of the boots, but initially find them too tight, try breaking them in with some thick socks. I hope you love them as much as I do!
The boots arrived and straight out of the box they were gorgeous! Love at first sight... until I tried to get my feet in. I read the other reviews and ordered a half size up but the mouth of the boots were so narrow that even with the zipper all the way down I was unable to get my feet in. Now my feet are not particularly wide and I usually wear Medium width. Not wanting to damage the leather, by forcing it, I decided to use a leather conditioner to soften the leather and then let it stand for a couple of hours. After this, I put on a pair of very thin, silky stockings and using a firm grip, I was able to get my feet in.Once the boots were on, they were quite comfortable, they fit properly, not too narrow with lots of room in the toe box. I walked around the house for about an hour with them on and there was no discomfort whatsoever as is expected from Clarks.
Been looking for a good ankle boots for a while now. I finally found one that I like, price and color wise. This is selling for $110 in Clarks website with 30% OFF and I only paid $54.99 plus tax in Amazon. I love the block heels and its well made. I don't know why it's only has 2 star but I'm giving it 5 star :) I don't why they're saying it's hard to get into these. I got size 7 and my feet got in just fine. Yes, it's a little narrow but I think it will be fine after few wears. Overall I'm really happy with these boots. Thank you!
These look good but are not a soft leather. An additional insole will probably be needed before too long. Fits well and had a good solid heel.
I’ve been looking for an ankle boot for a while and when I logged in to amazon to see what kind of deals they had going on I couldn’t believe my eyes. Love Clark shoes, looking for ankle boots win win! The price sealed the deal. They can just like they said they would. Glad I got the 11. I wear a 10-11 depending on the shoe who makes them ect. These shoes are tight to get on but once I can wiggle my foot in to them, they fit absolutely perfectly.
The shoe is pretty. I do love it. It's just too small. I couldn't get my foot in it. I suggest going up a whole size. I'm returning it, but I am going to try a larger size. It's cute.
These boots being all leather are a great value. Style & heel height are just right. Like cowboy boots these offer plenty of foot room but you must use a shoe horn to get them on. Once on they are very comfortable with great ankle support. I’m 73 & want style and support. I usually wear a 8.5 but ordered a 9 so I can wear a warm winter sock. They fit just right.
