I buy a lot of Cole Hahn shoes. I think around 90% of the shoes I own are Cole Hahn. The boot itself is from the All-Day line so the footbed is comfortable and supportive - not bouncy like the Cloud Feel line but still a great boot to wear for walking and running errands and whatnot. The boots are comfortable right out the box. They fit as expected - I wear a 9.5 in Cole Hahn shoes and the 9.5 fit in this boot was perfect for me. I can wear a slightly thicker sock but nothing more than a medium thickness. If you are a thick/chunky sock wearer in winter you would likely want to size up a half size. I will say I do not like the laces on the boot so will replace them with a flat style lace, but that one detractor was not enough to take it down a star. Given all the positives about this boot, I am confused by the poor ratings from previous reviewers. If you are familiar with Cole Hahn and are looking for a comfortable waterproof walking boot, this boot will not disappoint.
