I love the quality of the brand Dolce Vita, figuring their less expensive line DV by Dolce Vita would be comparable, perhaps not in materials but in fit and comfort.The look of the boot is fine, however the unusually heavy weight of the boot was a problem. It felt like I had extra pounds of weight on my feet. I have to be on my feet for work for 4-7 hours at a time and wearing these boots gave me an added fatigue I have never had before. It’s unfortunate, I was really hoping that they would last me at least for a season, but I only wore them once because they are so uncomfortable.They just didn’t live up to the Dolce Vita shoes I love that are 4X as expensive.I guess it’s true that you get what you pay for.
They are faux shearling lined, so you expect some cushion. The fur is very flat and dry, so they provide no padding, which I like in a chunky winter boot.
