Easy break in, size as described, fit as expected. Perfect blend of comfort and durability.
I was happy to find wide-width leather boots, and these met my expectations. They are a bit snug even with thinner socks on, but I expect wearing them will probably loosen them up as time goes on. I did have trouble at first with closing the back zipper once the boot was on my foot, but placing my foot squarely on the floor and making sure everything was tucked in helped with that. The boots are not as cumbersome to wear as say, Docs, which made them ideal for walking around the city and standing at a live show for hours (I'm in my early 50s and not as infatuated with heavy footwear as I once was). I didn't find the soles too thin or not supportive enough, but people with arch issues might want to add insoles. All in all, my elder goth heart is pleased with these.
They are bonded leather so be aware!!!
Love these boots. I'm a huge combat boots person. These are durable, waterproof, and fashionable. I actually like the shine it has because I can wear it with business clothes just fine. I have a wide toe box and these are soooo comfy and spacious overall.
These boots fell apart after THREE uses. The heel is hollow and doesn’t not take much to rip apart. Had to throw them away while I was abroad. Severely disappointed. DO NOT BUY UNLESS YOU DONT MIND HORRIBLY CHEAP BOOTS. They’re not even worth the price point.
I have a pair of clogs made by Eastland’s and they are a size M 6 1/2The. They are a bit to big so when I ordered these boots I thought a 1/2 size down would be just right however the boots are so narrow that it’s as if they are actually 3 sizes smaller. I can’t even begin to put them on. I’m disappointed about that but they seem really well made. I reordered a larger size. Fingers crossed 🤞 they actually fit this time. They are beautiful boots.
My go to for black, laced up boots - they fit well, are comfortable to walk in for long periods of time, and work well for light hiking as well as more casual formal type situations. I'm currently on my second pair.
