These are comfortable and seem sturdy. Love the look. I had to return my first pair because they were too big, but when I purchased a half-size smaller than I normally wear, they fit perfectly.
I have always been a fan of Eastland shoes and for several years, they were my go to shoe. Unfortunately, this pair was not produced to the standard I have been accustomed to. The fit almost makes you believe they are on the wrong foot. The back of the shoe, the heel area is very uncomfortable. I never thought I would say this, but this is the last Eastland pair of shoes that will purchase. Simply put, cheaply made.
Nice looking boot. VERY comfortable. But the man-made leather is not very soft. In fact it is loud and creaky. I thought they would soften up and stop squeaking and creaking (like a kid rubbing on a balloon) but they have not. Not noticeable outdoors but in the house/classroom/library/store they make noise with every step. Comfy so will keep them for yard work, but definitely not wearing them in public.

I decided to do the, “try before you buy” with these boots and after I tried them on, I decided that I would buy them after the 7 day period, so I wore them out.They IMMEDIATELY scuffed after just one wearing and now I’m stuck with scuffed boots that I still have to pay for.
