This lightweight winter boot is great and perfect for light winter use. Great to slip on quickly for picking up kids at school or running errands. Comfy and look good enough to wear to church.Have not had the opportunity to try them on a slippery snowy surface.

My old boots, similar style, were getting a bit worn so time for a new pair. When it's chilly here in So Cal I have to forgo my usual sandals and wear shoes or boots with socks. I like that they have a zipper on the side which makes it so much easier to get on and off. I didn't realize when I bought that they're water repellent - an added bonus. I think these are my fifth or sixth pair of Easy Spirit shoes and/or boots.

I returned twice as I was unable to find a good fit. Still might try again as it is a good looking boot and supposedly water resistant. I usually wear a 7 1/2 or 7 wide. Both were too big so that heel slipped. I might try a 6 1/2 double wide But this size was not available on Amazon, only on Easy Spirit website.
