FLY London Women's Yip Boot, Black Mousse 017, 42 BR/11-11.5 M US

I'm delighted. They're comfortable, they're cute, and I love them. I have noticed that one zipper has a mild tendency to slip down, but the way the shoes are designed it doesn't really make a difference; they stay on just fine. I've wanted a pair for years, and I'm so glad I finally jumped at these Fly Londons!

I loved these shoes and there are my first Fly London purchase. I did have to return for a larger size. I wear a 9 1/2 and I ordered down as others suggested. The 40 felt a little snug and my big toe felt as if it was rubbing against the top of the shoe. So I returned for the next size, 41, and they fit great. I wore them for a two week trip through Europe and they did well on the cobblestone streets, hills, and uneven sidewalks. They looked great with jeans, and the night we were walking through town for dinner, I put them on with black skinny dress pants and they looked and felt great. I would definitely buy from this brand again. They sell them at Nordstroms, but the price was better here. Would love to try more in different styles. They are pricey, but to have a walking vacation free of foot pain is worth it. Oh and I forgot to say I never put any water repellent on them and we got caught in the rain one day. I was worried they would be ruined, but in fact they water seemed to fall right off them. No problem at all!

I suppose I should not complain since I got this ankle boot at about $78 which is a steal for the Fly London brand. However; the pair I received was made in China which made me question the authenticity of the shoe and possibly justifies the lower pricing. 'Did a bit of research and verified that Fly London shoes are being made in China as well as Portugal. May not have bothered if I had known this prior to purchasing. Oddly, the right shoe seems tighter than the left shoe; but my left foot is the larger foot! They are comfortable and seem to be breaking in nicely. I will however shop carefully with this brand as one will never know what may be received or where it is coming from. Most unfortunate for such an awesome comfort shoe brand but I have limited patience for inconsistency with sizing and production.

I love Fly London's...I have bigger than average feet, and they are on the flat side. But these fit perfect, and I can wear them for a full day and not have aching feet, and they look great! These particular boots are best with pants or jeans that fall at your ankle, so you can see the top of the boot. LOVE them!

Ok, first thing I'll say is that they were a tad smaller than I expected. When I go to Europe I always buy size 38 shoes, which is what I ordered in these, but with this bootie, I could have used a 39. I am counting on them stretching out a bit, as they are made of a supple, soft leather that gives, and I will just wear them with nylons instead of socks, and I'm sure they'll be fine, size-wise. That said, I LOVE THESE and can't wait for the colder weather to get some true wear from them. I believe they will combine with so many outfits, and I find them modern, interesting, stylish, and different, and COMFY!! I have problem feet due to bunions and so comfort is KEY for me. They are as chic in person as in the photo. Love the look and the feel of them. Uh oh, I could be falling in love with FLY London ....

I first seen these boots a few months back at Nordstroms. I loved the look and feel, and decided they would be worth the $200 investment. Since Nordstroms didn't have them in the store, I decided to order a pair on line. I read all the fitting instructions and ordered a size larger, since everything I read suggested they run one size smaller. I wear a size 7 , and went with a size 8. When the shoes arrived, they fit like a size 10! The difference in sizing was ridiculous. So, I thought I'd try my luck a second time and ordered a pair through amazon. This time, settling with my real size 7. The shoes arrived fitting at least 2 sizes too small. In addition, they look and feel cheap. Nothing like the pair I had seen in Nordstroms. I love the Fly London brand and would like to eventually have a pair of my own. But still scratching my head on how to obtain them and to get an accurate fit. I don't believe I'll try my luck with on-line ordering again. Very disappointing.

I am in love with the entire Fly line. These booties are so amazing. They have a nice wedge heel to give it a really sharp fashion look. I get so many compliments whenever I wear these booties. I think it is the sheer simplicity of the booty that makes them so attractive. I bought them about two years ago from a very chic store, and then I realized they were starting to wear out because I wear them every single day. So I started searching for my backup pair and soon realized the chic store where I bought them decided to replace the FLY line with a shoe line that was not made in China I was so so disappointed, and was going into panic mode for these boots, and that's when I start searching Amazon for these kind of things. I was so excited to find them. I ordered the size 39 and they came so quick. When I first tried them on, I thought they seemed too tight, as compared to the original pair I had owned. The reason for the 4 and not 5 stars was that the overall finish was not as soft and smooth as my first pair, I guess that triggered me to say no problem, I will just order the size 40. Well the size 40 arrived, and they were really huge. I had no problem returning them. Thank you Amazon. The seller and the entire Amazon experience is first rate. I love those fly booties and hope they NEVER stop making them. They are literally like wearing running shoes. So comfy.
