Awesome boots! I wear them riding motorcycles, dirt bikes and even horses! They are very stylish and very well made. I get lots of compliments. Heavy duty! If your looking for a very durable boot to last for years this is your boot. Search no more. I find them comfortable. They look very good worn in. The only negative but I wouldnt classify it as negative just my opinion; is due to its nature of being a heavy duty well made boot it is a little on the heavy side. Not complaining but just saying. If you want something light that will fall apart in a year go ahead and buy some plastic/leather boots. Overall excellent purchase!
I love them! I've been looking for some women leather boots comfortable enough to wear at work and also stylish enough to wear with jeans when not at work. I think the price is right. I work 10 hours shifts on my feet pretty much the whole time, and this boots are perfect! In my own personal experience is better to spend a little more for a good pair of leather boots than having to buy cheap ones every 3 months. I did notice at first that it doesn't give that much of an arch support but that's ok because I use insoles anyways. They are easy to get in and out. Was kind a worry from reading some reviews from other buyers that says it was difficult to get in and out of them? I am a size 6 but my foot is wide so I always have to go for the 6.5. This boots fit perfectly. They are very comfortable.About the squeaking noise... There was some squeaking noise coming from the area were the tongue and the laces touch. I applied some olive oil to that area and the entire boot...let it dry overnight and the noise was gone.
These boots are the best! Have had multiple surgeries on my feet and have never had any bad days with these boots! I wear them riding my motorcycle and even after a 500 mile ride day my feet are still doing great!
I’ve gotten these boots twice in the last maybe 4 years. I go pretty rough on shoes since I typically use them daily for work and everyday life. The first thing that broke on my first pair was the zipper tag, and even then they were still perfectly wearable. But they were gross and my pointy heels had worn away the backs of them too much so it was time for a new pair.Had these two years and there’s nothing wrong with them besides being gross, so I’m getting another pair for non-work use. They hold up through long, on your feet shifts with lots of walking and standing, and once you’ve broken them in, they seem to mold to your foot pretty well.Definitely not comfortable for maybe the first week, but worth it.
Very cool boots.
I love these boots. I'm a hard person to find any shoe to fit. And I was thinking i'm crazy for looking on line for expensive boots. But my husband bought some Harley Davison boots before me. He has rheumatoid arthritis and has it bad even in his feet. They work great for him. so I thought why not. There perfect for me. With a some what wide flat toe shape helps my foot flat not making my toes round under each other. And just right for my heals they don't rub raw. The laces also help with how tight or loose you want them. I wear stretch jeans so I tuck my pant lags in. I hope this helps you.
The perfect boot for riding!! They are comfortable, no issues when riding, shifting, or breaking!!! Highly recommended.
UPDATE, 11/22/18:A little bit of the creaking came back but I haven't re-treated them as described below yet, and frankly, I like it, it's subtle. I also get compliments nearly every time I wear them (usually from women), even if I'm doing something as mundane as waiting for an elevator or taking out the trash. They almost seem like a public service—they make other people a little happier, too. They broke in very nicely and are still quite comfortable. Best boots I've ever owned by a number of measures, including the ones that cost two to four times as much by higher-end brands.ORIGINAL REVIEW, May 2018:Surprisingly comfortable. I was a little shocked. I typically order a half-size larger so boots will accommodate my usual Sole insoles, but the reviews here led me to decide on my normal size 9 instead, and it seems to be fine. So I'm not sure if I'd say these run large or not, just that I didn't need any extra room for the insoles.Quality control is slightly lacking, however, hence only four stars—the L one is slightly narrower (but it will stretch and mostly already has in a few hours, and I can force the issue further without damage if needed), and had a flawed bit of leather on the vamp in a place that will show creasing eventually anyway, but neither of these was enough to make me return them. You might feel differently if you get a mismatched set. With respect to them looking "cheap" as another reviewer said, I own a few pairs of Frye and Lucchese boots, and I know better than to set them next to something that costs half as much. These look fine for what they are. And Frye makes combat boots, so check those out if you need something more refined. But they don't make anything quite like this. They present a nice clean profile along with leggings or skinny jeans; no clown-shoe look here, at least not at my size, and they look even better after being treated with Frye Weatherproof Dressing, of which I happened to have a tin lying around. It gives them a darker, richer patina in addition to its other benefits.Of special note: They creaked like thick leather before I put the dressing on (including on the tongue). Now they are nearly silent. We'll see if that remains true. Will update this review if anything changes.
