They're nice shoes , look very professional and they are overall comfortable , but you won't be able to wear thick winter socks unless you size up 1/2 size. Slightly narrow at the toes but not too bad (I have average width feet.)They have some cushion but if you're an older heavy set woman like me who likes to add extra cushion inserts, you may want to size up 1/2 size :D
