I love these boots. They are comfortable and from my perspective very attractive. I have two pair of them. The brown (this color is not my idea of camel, but the photo is accurate) and the green ones. I have quite a few Joseph Seibel shoes, as they are very well made and quite a few of their products are compatible with my taste.
I wanted to love these shoes...although comfortable enough, they stretched within minutes of wearing them. There was just something about these shoes that didn't measure up to the high standard of Josef Siebel.Hopefully a good insert will rectify the problem.
The leather is soft and comfortable right out of the box. I rarely find any shoes wide enough for my orthotics, but these were. I normally wear a size 38 - 39 (8 to 8.5) but these were a size 40 (9 to 9.5) and wide enough for my orthotics. The heel height looks very nice and is comfortable.
Very comfortable shoe, with a very short break-in period. The top leather edge of one of the shoes came a little unfinished and so was pretty rough against my leg to start out with, but it has since softened.
I love the shoe. However, I wore it for less than 30 days (and not every day) it the sole has come loose and it is falling off. I contacted AMAZON who stated they could not help me due to the 30 days had passed, that is fine. I contacted Josef Seibel and left a voice mail and current to date no one has returned my call. I am contacting them again today. I do not recommend the shoe or Josef Seibel at this point, which is sad as I loved their shoes in the past!
These ankle boots are just what I wanted!! They look great with jeans, and also with casual slacks!! I have another pair of Josef Siebel ankle boots in brown and they tie..and are so comfortable, I knew these would be the same... and I was not disappointed !! Just wish they weren't so expensive, when I bought the brown ankle boots, got them on sale on vacation in Nashville, in the clearance basement... was SO lucky!! (I wear a small size)
Not nearly as comfortable as I remember this brand being. Nice materials but not comfortable.
These boots are comfortable and cute. I wanted some with a lower shaft because I’m short and I like there to be a little gap between my pants and the top of the boots, and these are exactly what I wanted. They are matte leather, not shiny at all, which wasn’t what I expected based on the pictures but I still love them. I put a little mink oil on them and have worn them in the rain with no problems.
