These are definitely not the boots for you if you think you’re gonna wear them on a hike as soon as they come out of the box.Like breaking in a new glove that will soon be a favorite and last you forever, these need some serious breaking in - but once they’re molded and softened you’ll wear them any time the occasion calls for it I’m sure.As a reference, I wore them around the grocery store for about an hour and couldn’t wait to get them off when I got in the car. Every step was rubbing at my heel. Maybe could’ve used some Band-Aids to cushion that but I know this is all part of the breaking in process. So just know that when you buy these.
Bought these boots for an apprentiship setting. Met the requirements (6" tall, 3/8" heel) and comfortable right out of the box. Laces are long enough to be double looped, boots are light but sturdy. I don't know if they're waterproof, but I won't be disappointed if they're not. I have never yet found a pair of waterproof boots that have lived up to they're claim, and I've bought many, many boots. I will update this review once winter sets in, but for now I'm really happy with these.
Inaccurate pictures of product
It has been several years searching for good quality boots and not finding anything.. The quality in most are suffering but they sure want the same price these days. I was thrilled to find these!!! After receiving these from Amazon I went to the Kodiak website to look to see what else they have and found another pair I loved. They are both wonderful quality and style!
These are well made boots that I love but after wearing for a couple hours hurts my toe on the side. I would recommend Sizing up!
I am wearing a size 7.5 and I took an 8 and with socks it sits perfectly
These boots have great arch support and feel very comfortable. You must size up by at least half a size as they are very narrow and I don't have wide feet. Also they aren't waterproof at all even though they are advertised as such. Seems like they are made really well and durable.
