I looked on other sites for the reason for the low ratings in these boots. Consistently, buyers had issues with the narrowness at the ankle. I took a chance and ordered them because I have slim ankles and was hopeful they would fit. They fit very nicely, and I’m so glad I took the chance. I have plenty of room in the ankle, but if someone has large ankles, they should skip this item. Otherwise, I highly recommend them. They are beautiful boots and are very comfortable. I give them 5 stars.
