I should have paid attention to the one bad review that these boots received. The buyer said the sole of the boots split after a short time wearing them. I've always had good luck with Steve Madden shoes so I chose to ignore the bad review. Now, I have a pair of Steve Madden boots with the sole split in half! The return window is closed, and the boots are worthless. This $86.00 Steve Madden product should have lasted more than 2 months. So very disappointed in this product.

I absolutely loved these boots for the first two months that they weren’t a piece of garbage. My parents bought them for me in December for Christmas and I thought they were the perfect boots—comfortable, stylish, made me feel like I could stomp anyone who tried me. I begin wearing them in mid January, walking maybe 2 miles per day a couple days a week while wearing them. By mid March, both soles had cracked completely across the bottom. Then I started looking at reviews online. There are at least a couple reviews on Macy’s and Target’s websites that had the same exact problem—both shoes cracked completely across the bottom. I’m almost ashamed that my parents bought these for me. They cost $100 and they don’t really have that kind of money for shoddy shoes that fall apart so fast. Steve Madden used to be one of the more durable fashion brandS. I had a pair of their Mary Janes that i bought secondhand and wore all through high school and a pair of their Troopa boots (another Christmas gift from my parents) that I wore all through college. Now I don’t think I’ll get something from them ever again. I emailed the brand’s customer service about it and they just tried to pass the blame onto the store they were purchased from when it’s clearly a defective product that they are responsible for.
these shoes are really cute and pretty comfy! unfortunately, they fell apart like cheap trash after only a few months. both platforms have almost completely fallen off and cracked horribly. tried to glue them back together to no avail. the soles are ALSO separating badly. it's only been a few months, this is unacceptable for the price
