I remember seeing Nine West in Payless and since then it seems they have stepped up their game. I was looking for some real leather boots that weren't too tall in the heel and these fit the bill. I saw them online at Macy's before Christmas but they were sold out in the solid leather that I was looking for. A google search lead me to this listing and I requested the 'Prime - Try before you buy' feature for both the black leather and tan suede. I am a true size 9 and ordered both in my regular size. I wanted the square-toe to leave room for my toes as I have bunions on both feet and would still like to comfortably wear heels. The toe is almost a beautiful combination of an almond and square shape. Normally I would add insoles to heeled boots but the soles on these were comfortable enough that it wasn't necessary. I love the metal detailing that adorns the back of the boot and the zipper, giving the boots a high-end look. The leather is soft and the shaft of the boot was comfortable on my ankle. I wore them for a total of four hours, in the car and at a family gathering and my feet felt fine afterwards. Overall I am very happy with my purchase of these boots and will be keeping both colors. I would highly recommend if you're looking for both quality and comfort!
