For kind of an impulse purchase, I am thrilled with these boots. They are comfortable wide enough for my feet while still looking cute. I removed the insole, and that combined with the low tread mean these are great for day to day wear but not say hiking or being on my feet all day long. They are moderately water resistant in the rain and look to be pretty durable if thin soled. I'm rarely so happy with shoes, but I would happily get these again!

I ordered these boots in a last ditch effort to try to get winter boots for my trip to Lake Tahoe, and these actually worked out amazingly well! I ordered the 2E width and it was actually wide enough for both my feet. I have severe bunion on both of my big toes (was born with them), and find it really difficult to find any comfortable shoes to wear at all in the width I need, which is a 2E or wider. I also have a small foot (in length), and wear a size 7. So the fact that these boots came in the length I needed and had the 2E width was life changing for me in terms of comfort and functionality, as the shape of my feet don’t work well with 99% of the shoes made for women, sadly. I would definitely buy this brand again and have been really pleased with these shoes the entire times I’ve owned them. It’s so nice to not have to sacrifice having warm and dry feet and also comfortable feet that aren’t screaming inside a too tight toe box. As someone who has struggled with shoes her entire life, it was a huge relief to find this brand, and this particular shoe.

I took a walk in my boots today. I do like the style and color of boot. I don't like the lack of arch support for long-term wear. Most boots have some type of arch support, but these have a strange springy feel in the balls of the feet. I think it would be fine if you add a shoe insert for better support on the feet. I'm going to give that a try before returning them. I hoped I'd got more comfort overall though.

Given the reviews saying these ran narrow, I purchase two pairs, one wide and one regular in size 8 (my normal size, but sometimes in boots, I can wear 8.5). Since reviews said these ran longer I chose to stick with the size 8.This is what I found:They fit very similar, almost the same, which explains why people who needed a "wide" width would find they're not wide enough. The length was perfect on either. I almost kept the regular size 8, which being genuine leather would stretch out and conform to my foot, but after trying them on with thicker hiking type socks, I felt the "wide" would be more comfortable and required less break in stretching time. Additionally if walking or hiking a lot, my feet could swell some so the wider fit would be more comfortable.Overall I would suggest a wider size over the regular as I agree they fit a little narrow. If your feet are truly wide, get the double wide to feel any difference.Also, I will comment these are nice and warm but are still thinner than some sheepskin lined/sherpa lined boots (basically they're nice suede with the sherpa lining- no additional padding but supportive around the ankles and cozy) and the bottom insole is very flat without much support. As one reviewer said they're not hiking boots, but I'd still wear them as such once in a while. I chose the wider pair also because I added my own arch support and cushioning which makes them fit like a dream now. They are very stylish and well made in my opinion otherwise, you just have to get the right size for your needs.

I took a chance ordering these shoes. They were such a good price I thought they must be poorly made. Also they got several reviews talking about poor fit but I found them to fit perfectly. Not only that they are so cute, comfortable and well made. I love them.

I scoured the internet for reviews on this boot and this brand before I bought and couldn’t find a thing, so I took a chance. Here’s what I wish I would have known:To be clear this is not a hiking boot. Some places on the interweb advertised it as one, it’s not. I ordered a 9.5 wide which is my normal size, and at first they fit totally great and my feet were toasty warm! But after a couple weeks of wear I really wish I had ordered a 9. The fluffy and warm lining wore down and the leather stretched a bit and now my boots are too long and too wide in the ankle area and not as warm as they once were. Also the sole on the bottom looks like it’s the same size as for a normal width shoe with some added support stuff around the edges, so you kind of still have the “my foot is too wide for this shoe” look That being said, they are wearing in but still look and feel good, I get lots of compliments on them. And I have inspected many times and the seams seem to be holding up well and all around not falling apart, which is what I was worried about with trying a new brand. And the red is nice, a pop of color but not obnoxious.

Bought for our daughter, who normally wears a 9 1/2 wide. I bought these in a 9 2E since reviewers said they ran long and narrow and they were just perfect. She doesn't always find the style she's looking for in her width, and she's very happy with these. They're well made and look nice on her. Also have a nice cozy lining.

Fit- true to size as far as length, width sizing is off and the wide fits like regular width.Design- the black, white and grey looks like carpet. The rubber 'cork' look at the base is for design only. It makes it look like there is some good architectural support, there is absolutely NO arch support. It is a flat sole, designed to look supported. The boot is cheaply made, there are visible glue spots. You could walk into any discount or bargain store and spend 20 dollars and get this shoe. The Propet shoe is advertised for people who want a superior shoe. Something must have happened because this is definitely not a well made or supportive shoe.This is the second propet shoe I've returned in the last year. It seems the company is no longer in the healthy foot business.
