Bought these prior to a big horseshow. Was walking on concrete up to 8 miles per day. I wore these shoes with compression knee high socks. My feet did not hurt the entire week. Better than tennis shoes!
I do a ton of yard work and needed a 2-hole tie shoe with an ankle-high collar and very comfortable. This shoe hits the mark on all counts. The thick crepe sole makes it extra comfortable. This style was impossible to find locally, so I had to order a few pairs to get it right, but these are phenomenal.
My shoe size is 7.5 or 8, this depends on the style and shoe makers. My foot is tad wide side. I ordered 8 because I read some reviews. This boots is narrow but almost fit like a glove, thin line between just right and tight. I could have ordered 8.5 but after I’ve worn couple of times i feel like It would be loose then... the quality is good and I love the design, comfortable to walk. Hoping the width stretching a little more :D

Kind of difficult to get on as they have no stretch. Very cute and will keep. Hoping they stretch out a little. Toe box is right in my toes. No extra room. I wear a 6 and ordered a 6 but could have done ok with a little larger size. Quality is awesome. Well made. These remind me of a retro pair of shoes my mom had a long time ago so I've been looking for something like these for awhile. I'll keep. Very, very fast shipping. The company is reputable and I'd recommend. Just might order a larger size would be my advice.
Siblings and I started wearing a desert back in late 70's. Used to call them "Joe Alexander's" or "Joes", still do cuz the 5x's World Champ. Bareback Rider had some at Sky High Stampede. These are 100x's better quality and comfort than ANYTHING ever. Gotta Love Ropers!

The plastic around the shoe came melted to the rubber sole of the shoe, which is bizarre because I ordered these in wintertime. I couldn’t get all the plastic off so I had to return. So weird.
