This boot is absolutely beautiful and it looks even better in person than in the photo! I think the quality is just fine and it looks well-made and sturdy. The suede is lovely and the embroidery is perfect. Having said that, if I would have paid full price, I may not have thought the boot was worth the price, but since I got such a great deal on Amazon (the price changes from day to day, so if you feel like it's too expensive check back again and again), I am very happy. The heel may be made from plastic, but it doesn't look or feel "plasticky" at all. And, for a 4" heel, it's actually pretty comfortable. It's not a hiking boot that's for sure, but as far as a high heel goes, this one is doable. As other reviewers mentioned, go up a half size (at least) because they may feel a little pinchy in the toe area. I wear a 5.5 or a 6 and the 6 fits perfectly with a light to medium-weight sock. If you plan on wearing heavier socks, you might even want to try a full size up. By the way, I bought both colors (because of the great deal). They whiskey color almost has a khaki/greenish tinge to it. It's definitely in the beige family, but there is a greenish/yellowish undertone. The black boot looks very elegant and the whiskey is more casual and has a great early 70s vintage vibe.
Why didn't I go 1/2 size up?! Let me tell you now, these are the boots you must have in your shoe collection. It's simply beautifully crafted and the embroidery is perfection. I have to return the 8m and get an 8.5m ASAP! The toe box is narrow but other than that, perfect.Update: 23Jan16-my hubby reordered for me since the 8m was to small. Well, the box said 8.5 but the boots were 8! Talk about anxiety! Well, since Amazon is so great, another pair on their way...the quest continues. Ladies, each size is almost gone, they are so worth it! I'm the Shoe Diva and they do Not look inexpensive at all!
Very pretty but too tight and uncomfortable. If they were cheaper I may have kept them but for the price not worth the sacrifice. Also the heel was on the high side. I ordered half size up and they were still snug.
They run a hair smaller than normal so if you usually wear a 6.5 OR 7 order a 7.These are not sneakers ladies...for the height, these are comfortable enough and beautiful shoes. I love them =)
I'm on the fence about these boots. I ordered them and have to be honest in saying that I have only tried them on. I am on the fence about returning them. The quality of the boots is really not very good. They are cheap to me and the heel is plastic, making it seem like they would easily break. I just think for that price, they should be better quality. $60 - $75 maybe.They are a bit stiff when you first put them on as well. Do size up by 1/2 size. I may be returning these.

I've always struggle with shoes, they all hurt my feet one way or another. But not this baby, these are the most comfortable, sharp looking pair of boots. Now I want them in every color!
