Sam Edelman Women's Thatcher Ankle Boot, Eggshell, 7

went for two winter trips with these boots so far with the most recent one being to japan and walked in these boots for 14 hours a day, more than 10,000 steps a day. glad to say these shoes kept my feet nice and dry in the snow (i also wore thick socks). my feet thank these shoes for its comfort and durability. oh, they also look great in pictures too!

One week ago my wife bought a pair of Sam Edelman boots at a mall in Nashville, Tennessee. She liked these boots so much my wife told the clerk she was going to wear them and to please place the boots the wore into the store in the Sam Edelman box. The color that was purchased is called Burnt Brandy a very pretty colored boot and they were worn all day as we walked throughout the mall and to an outside restaurant. By the time we finished shopping my pedometer indicated we had walked over 4.5 miles. She commented a number of times during our shopping trip how comfortable these boots were, and if she had kept her other boots on her feet would be in pain. She likes a wide toe box and these boots fit the bill in addition the leather had a very soft feel, beautiful color and had numerous details that made the boots look very stylish. When we got home she lamented that she wished the store where she bought them had the black color boots in stock. So we looked on Amazon and they carried the Sam Edelman boots in black and we immediately placed an order. When they arrived the fit was perfect and they also look great. The Amazon price was also similar to the Nordstrom sale price. My wife feels the Burnt Brandy boot is a really attractive color but the black boot will go with more of her outfits. She is very particular when it comes to shoe style and fit. Finally, she said THESE ARE THE MOST COMFORTABLE BOOTS SHE HAS EVER WORN. This comment comes from a person who has worn dress boots throughout her work life as well as for casual wear.

These very cute boots can be dressed up or dressed down. I feel like they ran a little big though. Everyone is going to find they fit different because we all got different feet. If it helps anyone, my feet are narrow feet so I had to size down half a size for the perfect fit. I wear 7.5 in most boots and 7 in sandals. Hope these helps someone.

Really liked the leather, very soft and of good quality. The style made me feel classy. Unfortunetly, because of my narrow ankles the boot opening was too big for me. Also, I ordered my normal size 7 but the boots did feel slightly big. I could feel one shoe slipping up a bit on the heel as I walked. Im sad about that, I really wanted to keep them!

Bought these for work. No shoe box—which was fine, they weren’t damaged when arrived. Beautiful genuine leather crafted in Vietnam with a synthetic insole. These are perfect for wide feet and fit bigger (order a half size down). I struggle to find boots that are comfortable and not too narrow, but these are so comfy! They will take a bit to break in (awkward to walk in at first) but I love the square toe—a great basic to add to professional wardrobes.

I really liked the style of these boots but had to return them. I have wide feet and could barley get them on and then was left with too much space in the toe. Barley had them on but seemed uncomfortable

I love Sam Edelman shoes. However, these are the 1st pair that I can truly say did not meet my expectations. After one wear, they look like I've had them for years. They have so many creases in the toe area. Just seem cheap!

I was looking for a comfortable stylish boot and came across these! It was the perfect match. I work long hours on my feet and I have to wear all black. The style of the boot is so versatile, I can dress it up or wear them for a casual dinner with friends. Highly recommend!
