Skechers Women's Combat Boot, Black/Black, 6

These boots are well worth the money. Very comfortable, as you'd expect from Skechers. They're true to size. I'm a 6.5 and 7 was the closest size still available--a little big, but not uncomfortably so, and to be expected from a half size up. First time I wore these was for the entire day with a lot of walking; my feet weren't at all sore by day's end. This is a welcome thing, as I have foot troubles and often feel like I've had a visit from Annie Wilkes by the end of the day. Although it's not clear in the photos, the boots come with a second pair of black-and-white laces for a bit of a different look--bonus! Here's the deal: you can buy a cheaper pair of boots in a similar style, which likely won't hold up and for which your feet will curse you, both of which will result in your buying these anyway. Save yourself the trouble, pain, and money and buy these. Plus, you'll get tons of compliments from all the people around you--friends and strangers alike--who are suffering from boot envy. For quality, comfort, and style, I give these boots six out of five stars.

I work for Taylor Guitars, standing on my feet all day whilst sanding the guitar necks, and discovered my three pairs of Doc Martens are just too heavy and harsh on the foot. Hundreds of dollars down the drain! I was always reaching for my lightweight Skechers sneakers and wanted a boot to cycle between during the work week that wasn't too heavy, gave me some height, protected my feet, and didn't kill my feet towards the end of the shift. I tried these on Friday's shift and LOVED them - most comfortable work boot I've owned, and after the hundreds of dollars spent on Doc Martens, I find these to be sooo much better. I was still able to be quick on my feet without the clumsiness Docs would add, the memory foam insole does it's job. Also, being a size 5 with narrow feet, it's hard to find a boot that doesn't make me feel extremely awkward, and these fit PERFECTLY. They come with black laces if you find the red to be too bold in color, and the zipper allows for such easy on-and-off, instead of the dreaded lace-up ritual you have to do twice a day with Docs. On top of comfort they are so cute and I can tell I'll be wearing these hiking or to concert shows, maybe even on a dinner date if I don't wear into them too much at work! Having Skechers be the sneaker AND the boot I reach for daily, I felt compelled to leave a review recommending these. Save your money ladies!

This is a great boot! I am on my feet at work walking All day, 5 days a week. These boots are very comfortable however I did have to add an insole. They look awesome and I get compliments on them. Unfortunately, since I am on concrete floors all day, these boots only tend to last about 5-6 months. As long as the price remains under $50, i will buy them but I'm still looking for a good looking longer lasting boot for work.

Purchased in white and LOVE them! Super cute and comfortable! Some reviews suggested sizing up but I say don’t! I have a wide foot and was a little iffy about not. Glad I didn’t. Bought my normal size 7 and they fit great w plenty of room for socks!

I bought these to wear in winter while still looking professional in the classroom. The heels are higher than I'm accustomed to, but that is personal preference. I feel stable when walking both around the classroom and on icy sidewalks on campus. They shine up nicely with boot polish. Mine came with both red laces in the boots and black laces in the box as options. The laces helped to adjust the fit to my feet and ankles but the zippers on the sides are the key to putting them on. I have not experienced any leakage through the zippers, although I avoid walking through sizable puddles.

I just got these and they are very comfortable. They seem roomy enough to wear thick socks or multiples. The zipper is nice seems sturdy. They are very nice looking.

Fits great , and looks great. The nice cushioned top doesn't rub or hurt at all.
