This happens most of the time. Ankle boots hit your lower shin in the front of your leg. It needs to be cushioned to keep the boot from cutting into the leg. I will try it for a day or two. If discomfort continues, back they goe.
A little narrow, but I have wide feet. Wore them for long days of walking while traveling and they have served well! In particular, the soles and waterproofing were perfect for a very wet cave hike. No slipping at all on the wet rock!
These rain boots ARE NOT WATER RESISTANT. Don’t be fooled. They are not rain boots.
