These are great. Good looking and fit as expected.

Pictured are a size 7.5 in the color, "forest."My pictures and even the pictures online make these look more brown than they are green. They're definitely a mixture of both, but in sunlight, they are more so green than brown. I thought that the be important to note.These fit very snuggly. If you want more room, size up for sure. Especially if you want to wear thicker socks. They are very narrow, also. So, if you have wider feet, I would pass on these. 7.5 is literally the most perfect fit I think I have ever felt in a pair of boots. For context, I am usually a 7 in most heels, and a 7.5 in most sneaker brands. I usually size up to an 8 on boots. I followed what Amazon recommend for me based on other reviewers, and I am glad I did, but again, be aware if you want to wear these with thicker socks, or just want more room. Listen to the recommendation like I did for a snug fit, size up for a looser fit.The heel is very stable and chunky, so even a novice heel wearer should feel fine in these. They don't have the most padding, but enough to keep you comfortable, in my opinion. They have no laces, buckles or ties, so that's probably why they're made to be snug, and that is such a plus because you don't have to worry about breaking a trashy zipper or cheap buckle. Points for that.The traction on these are great. Some of the best I've seen on heeled boots. Major points for that.All in all, to summarize:5/5 for being as pictured and as described. Although the color could use more clarification. These are a forest green, more than a forest brown(forests come in all sorts of colors!)4/5 for comfort. Could be slightly better. BUT these are under $40($35.74 at the time of this review), so, I'm not complaining too much.5/5 for traction. Very impressed. Especially because of the given price, because I have shoes and other boots that were way more than these, with way less texture and ridges to guarantee a long wear. Honestly, 10/5 for that.5/5 for fit. Again, just be aware that they are very narrow, but given the style, they are supposed to be.5/5 for the nice suede texture.I received these for free as a Vine Voice in exchange for an honest review, but I wholeheartedly recommend them. I would for sure purchase the light tan colored ones of this style with my own money in the future, and/or I would buy these with my own money as a gift for someone.A great 5/5 star find.

These ankle boots are extremely comfortable, and I like the height of the heel. My only complaint is that I have to wear little ankle stockings to help them slide on and off smoothly. Otherwise, my foot sticks and they are hard to come off. They look great with slacks, leggings or short dresses. I enjoy styling them and I have gotten many compliments about them.

I pretty much always wear a size 8, but I got an 8 1/2 because I was hoping for a little extra room in the toes. Well it is a good thing, These fit like an 8. I would need to go up to a 9 to be able to wear thick socks with them. Besides that, the color is odd. It is called Mid Forest, so maybe I should have guessed that they would be green not brown, but these are a weird greenish brownish color. I would have preferred that they be one or the other. The quality seems ok. the fabric is soft enough around the ankles that it doesn't dig in or chafe. the soles are almost velvety feeling which makes them a little slippery on hard surfaces. That will probably improve with time. As far as value, this color is listed at $36 and I don't think I would want to pay that. The other colors are listed at $37 and $46 and I think based on the size issues as well as the odd soles I would pass on them.

These shoes are now one of my go-to pairs to wear to work. Super comfortable, and have a nice heel height. They're made of high quality materials and have held up so far through several wears with no issue. Highly recommend!

The pros:-These are nice looking ankle boots that make your feel look a little smaller than they actually are.-They are comfortable to wear and easy to put on.-For me, the size was right. I'm somewhere between a 6.5 and a 7 so I usually wear a size 7 shoe and I didn't size up on these. I was happy to find that they fit perfectly-The heel is a great height. Large enough to give you some extra height, but not so tall that they become hard to walk in.The cons:-I got the "Mid Forest" color, thinking that it was a dark brown. This is how it looks in the listing photos, and in the photos that I personally took. In dim indoor light they look brown. However, in brighter light or outdoors, the best way I can describe the color is "algae green."-Inexplicably, the front tread of the shoes are covered in a fuzzy (suede like?) layer that makes them slippery when walking on some surfaces. I'm guessing that this will wear off soon and will no longer be an issue.Overall these are great shoes. I'm happy with them!

I really wish these booties were a true 8 - I have worn an 8 in every kind of shoes, sandal, slippers, etc. for years - so I ordered an 8. In this shoe, though, I need at least an 8-1/2 - maybe even a 9 depending how small they actually run. I can slide them on and off easily, but my toes are all the way at the end of the bootie - and the toes are also kind of squished together. I'm going to wear them because I love them that much - but I won't be able to wear them to walk for any long period of time.I love the thick soles and traction they get. I love how solid they feel and I love the height of the heels and soles. They lift me up enough that I can wear them with certain pants that I own that are really too long for me - but with these on they look the perfect length. I wore them around the other day and I ended up with a rub-spot on my left leg in the front where the top of the bootie rubs against the side of my shin when I walk. That's another reason I wouldn't try to walk in them for any real distance.They are perfect to wear out to dinner or to church - somewhere you plan to be sitting the majority of the time. They are a perfect black texture - I didn't want leather and I didn't want a real "suede-looking suede" if that makes sense - these are just right and will look great with basically anything I wear.
