I’m super happy with these boots. I want to start by saying I did originally go with the doc marten leather Jadon boots which are exactly like these but fancier and real leather. However i could not make the sizing work in those boots no matter how much I willed it. I’m between a 7.5 and an 8 - anyway, these maddens actually come in half sizes and I read they run a little small, so I got an 8, and they fit absolutely perfect. Sure they are not real leather but they are still very nice and look exactly like the docs for $100 less and far more comfy. I’m so happy I found these bc they look just like their more expensive competitors, but actually fit me and don’t hurt my feet.
Omg they are beautiful. I just got them So I have not worn them for a full day yet but I can definitely tell they will be comfortable. I have the Hawke boots from Madden girl which are very similar to these and those are my favorite boots ever. They are a little stiff but what new boots aren't when you get them. Also I will say they feel smaller than most boots but I did order my normal size and it will work. If you like a slightly looser fit I would size up at least half of size.
These are high quality and adorable boots. I had been eyeing them for years and finally decided to buy them. I wear them all of the time and love the way they look. They were pretty stiff at first but with time I have broken them in. Definitely recommend.
So glad I ordered these in the bigger size they fit perfect, there so cute and totally worth the price! They run small so I ordered one size up. They do fit stiff when you first get them, but they last a while and have good traction in rain, rocks, snow and ice. The only down side was I had to cut the fabric under the ripper which I didn't have to my old pair otherwise they smelt new!
Beautiful, comfort
I bought these because I got the pink ones last year and you can no longer find the patent leather ones on the SM site.I like the shoes overall—which is why I bought another color. I bought the black in the same size as the pink, but they are slightly bigger. Nothing that is a deal breaker, but I definitely noticed a difference.Regarding wear, they are comfortable enough to wear all day (I wear them to work and out and about), but you have to more that because of the type of shoe, it is heavy and a little stiff. Again—this is not a dealbreaker for me and should be expected with a combat boot with a thick sole.
I’ve had these about a year and the leather started to peel at the toe less than 6 months in. Not sure if anyone else has had this experience. I don’t wear them that often and I don’t think I’m that rough with them but they are a really cute pair of shoes. Just wish they lasted me longer!
They’re great! Like all boots, make sure to only wear them an hour or so at a time first, not a full 8+ hour day! You’ll get blisters! Make sure to wear them a little at a time until your feet get used to them. They’re well made and are a good price for what you get.
