Great low heel bootie. Wonderful traction on the ground with a nice, very stable heel. Like the other reviewers mentioned, these are a bit tight to get on initially, even with the zipper all the way down. This is just "snug" as you are putting them on, not impossible to get on at all. I imagine this will loosen up over time as the boots break in. Once you do get these boots on, they are very, very comfortable and fit very true to size! The flared, pleated top does compete a bit with tighter jeans that hit snug at the ankle, but will be great for any straight leg or boot-cut jeans. I really love these boots for everyday wear around the house and around town doing errands. I really love these boots and am very glad that I bought them!
I love these boots. The only problem is that they are small in the ankle area, so are hard to get on. The foot, however fits perfectly and they are extremely comfortable. What I have found is that as I wear them more often, the ankle area is stretching and making it easier to get them on, but initially, they were very difficult and I almost sent them back. Glad I persevered!
I bought a 9 and I wear an 8 or 8.5. I could not even get the boot on my foot. They are very nice looking and I would love to wear them however I have a wide foot and they are made without question or doubt for a narrow foot. I read all of the reviews and they are all over the board so I tried them. The heel is the main issue however even if I had been able to get past that they are NARROW!
These boots are really hard to get on. I got them half size bigger and they fit great, however, getting them on is difficult, you really can't wear thick socks with these boots or you won't get them on your feet. Once the boots are on, super comfortable! The zippers on the side don't stay up that well. So, they are comfy, but hard to get on, no thick socks, the zippers slip a bit. Very cute, very comfortable once on. Buy bigger size then you normally wear.
These boots are nice looking, seem well made, but don't work for my feet. Too tight and low in the toe area.
I did not find these to be narrow. Plenty of room in the toe box. Ordered a 10, usually wear a 10 or 9.5. The sole is so spongy and comfortable and wearing well, have worn them to commute to work and walking all around the city, and are holding up great. Lightweight, always so comfortable for shoes. They did stretch a bit, wearing in nicely. Hard to get on, I use a shoe horn. But that means they are snug in the ankle and don't flop around on your foot.Inside of the heel is lined in suede for good support, grip - they stay on well. Wore silk socks that were worn out in the heel and that was irritating, these fit better with a more substantial sock, especially in that heel area. Ordered another pair in the high boot. That Teva sole is so comfortable!Have not worn them in a heavy rain. Will update review after testing the waterproof feature.
After reading some reviews, I decided to get a half size larger. Glad I did. I'm normally size 8 and got an 8.5. A size 8 would have been too snug on my average size foot and I have high arches. When I first put them on, the right side felt looser than the left but once I had a pair of socks on, they fit just right and I felt good support for my arches as well. The only problem with this design is getting them on. You need a shoe horn. If the the side zipper went down a bit lower, it probably wouldn't have been a problem. Once the shoe stretches, you just need to take a little time to wiggle your foot in. If you have an extra wide foot, you may have to go a size larger or maybe this design would be more difficult getting on. I have found they're a nice looking boot, good soles and very comfortable.
I ordered a size 8 based on the reviews about these boots running small and the 8 fits perfectly. I have a pair of Keen Tyretread and I wear a 7.5 in those. Also for reference, I wear a 7 to a 7.5 in sandals and other shoes but I wear an 8 in Nikes which also tend to run small. Also I have a narrow foot and skinny ankle. These boots look better in person than than in the pictures. Great quality, comfortable!
