Nike, the swoosh you know and love, began in 1964 as a handshake between a track coach and his athlete. Bill Bowerman and Phil Knight, fueled by a desire for better running shoes, started Blue Ribbon Sports, which later transformed into the global giant Nike. Their mission: to bring innovation and performance to athletes of all levels.
Nike is synonymous with pushing the boundaries of athletic performance. They constantly develop cutting-edge technologies like Air cushioning and Flyknit materials to deliver peak performance for athletes.
I tried lacing these up, but found them a bit tight and bulky when doing so. Then, I tried taking out the laces to make them 100% zip-up, and they immediately became my default shoes. I wear them with every outfit (sometimes with no outfit, because I have to protect my feet against LEGOs when locking the house down in the middle of the night). They’re comfortable, lighter than any other basketball shoes I’ve owned, look fantastic, and are just generally great shoes. I hope they’re still in production when my fat butt (5’6”, 260) finally wears them out so I can get some more.
I ordered two pairs of Nikes on the same day, in the size my son normally wears. One pair fit fine, but these were at least a size too small. It's a good looking shoe, but order up in size.
Way too tight even for my sons narrow foot. Even tried ordering 3 sizes too big. My 9yo can wear them at least. Sending the 2nd pair I ordered back.
I ordered the Nike PG4 basketball shoe for my 16-yr old son. After receiving the shoes, we both felt like they had excellent construction. But if you have wide feet to any degree, you may have problems with these shoes. The interior construction, with the internal lacing & zipper front, is very crowded. My son is in a size 10 for every other pair of shoes he uses currently, and based on other comments & reviews we ordered size 11 in this model. To put it bluntly, these didn't even come close to working for him, mainly on width, but also related to all of the "extra" materials that are inside this shoe. I know it's not possible for online purchases, but w/ this particular shoe I would strongly advise trying them on before purchasing if possible.
Middle school son really likes the PG shoe line. This pair can be used without shoestrings so he likes that. They offer good grip on the court and look great.
These shoes are pretty cool, they go well with my black n red street attire, black jeans and white as well. They have a very comfortable fit. Eventually after much wear I will begin to hoop in these joints.
Bought then returned. My size is 7.5. And I tried size 7.5 then size 8.0 and it is still small. The design is unusual — fasten tongue, which makes it harder to be worn. And the zipper is not necessary. I think Nike wants to put more fashion factors onto these shoes but that may be too redundant.
This shoe is a "shoe stopper". It's design and comfort are remarkable.
