The Drop Women's Jane High Heel Pull-On Sock Boot

Purchased this shoe in black - The positives: it looks beautiful in person, while not velvet, it is a deep rich black color that looks like the black you might find in black velvet items. It passes the color test and fuzz balls and lint do not seem to be attracted to them. It fits true to size and is super light on the foot, heel height is perfect. It is relatively easy to put on even with the small opening as it stretches ->as long as you are Very careful. The negatives: The stitching popped during my first try on with one of the boots. I pulled without making sure the shoe was facing in the upright position. Since the ankle is fabric, I was watching TV and the fabric area had twisted at the ankle during try on and I didn't notice and I heard a stitch pop. I was much more careful with the the other shoe and i noticed even with keeping the shoe upright, the stitching pulled taut when going over the heel. I have a regular width foot leaning more towards narrow than to the other spectrum and am 5'8 and 160 lbs so I don't think weight or chubby feet is the problem with the stitching. Right off I would say the stitching is not quality and is a tad too tight for the opening for wider feet. The heel area does "feel" cheap as far as the construction. The block part of heel should be babied as it sounds hollow if you tap it and whatever product they used that molds the back of the shoe to cradle the heel feels flimsy. I am fully expecting the block heel will give way if i am not mindful of my every step and you must be mindful when putting them on to not push your heel into the heel area but to try and slide it in slowly so as not to bend whatever that is molding the fabric around the heel. The shoes are also not comfortable to walk in. It doesn't hurt my foot ,but by end of day on my first wear they did Exhaust my feet and I did have to sit down regularly after walking a great distance. My desk at my job is upstairs, i have to go down the stairs and across a giant warehouse and back - I do this every day and often in heels, but My feet felt the trek in this shoe. It is not due to the weight of the shoe as the shoe itself is light as air. So these IMO are not the most supportive. If you need support or your foot is not used to wearing high heels regularly or you have to walk a distance like I do, you should look elsewhere. I kept the shoes since I busted the seam, but they will be replaced with a better quality shoe. They go into my granddaughters costume chest now. I took a chance on this shoe brand but do not think I will take another. I do not recommend if you plan to wear them often. It is a shame since it is really a beautiful shoe. I AM impressed with the look. The quality though, unfortunately just isn't there and was a way more disappointing than expected for the price. This is a 30 dollar shoe at best. I personally would take my 50 bucks elsewhere on this style and invest in a better quality product. Had I not busted a stitch, I would have sent them back and never have bothered trying to wear them.

The ease and comfort was something I was pleasantly surprised with. Ordered another pair.

It’s a very cute bootie with the perfect amount of stretch in the ankle area. However, it runs large (IMO for larger sizes like 11). I wear an 11 typically to ensure comfort and give in the material. These are larger than most. I had quite a bit of sliding inside. Simple fix for that. Otherwise great bootie.

I adore these boots, fit well and get tons of compliments. But after wearing only 5-6 times, the right heel broke. I was standing still, slightly rocking as I tend to do when I'm talking to someone, and the right heel broke. Not all the way off, but enough to need a cobbler, which I'm not sure is worth it. Total bummer. Love the look of the boots.

There is nothing to dislike about these boots. Visually stunning. Fit as expected, no complaints about height, instep, toe, width or anything. These slip on so alleviates the issue you have with shoes that come up on the ankle, often with a rigid back and zipper that hurts. I know I will get loads of compliments and the best part - THEY ARE COMFORTABLE!!!!!

Loved these boots to replace a Steve Madden sock boot. A thicker heel but not a full block makes it feel dressier. The ankle is comfortably snug and hits just right on the leg. Good height. Overall surprised and pleased with this purchase!

If you want shoes that will look professional and stylish while not killing your budget, these are great. They look amazing with lots of outfits!

Not the best quality. Feels wobbly when I walk.
