I wanted to love these because they're basic yet nice-looking chelsea'esque boots, but the fit wasn't ideal. They were far too narrow in the toes and then my heel slipped up when walking, even when trying different socks. Sadly, they'll be going back.For reference, I'm typically an 8 (sometimes 8.5 in boots) and purchased an 8 and had this heel slip/narrow fit experience.
Boots arrived without shoebox, shoved into a generic box, no cardboard packaging and one piece of tissue paper. They had obvious signs of wear and were returned. Very disappointed. I thought White Mountain was a reputable company. Sending back
