I purchased some new Dexter SST 9's and I could not even attempt to bowl in them with the standard pad and heal combination. Once I purchased this slide pad as well as the leather slide heel I was able to get back to bowling like I had been for many years prior to these shoes.I will say I wish Dexter would go back to giving these options when you purchase the shoes as the shoes are very expensive. My Dexter SST 8's came with one of every pad and heel in a small bag so you could adjust for different surfaces. Now you don't get even one optional pad meaning you could end up in situations where you have inconsistent slide depending on the surfaces you may be bowling on.

Usually use 8 9 10 and for those Sticky Synthetic approaches - Get an 11 or 12 But Most of the time I use the 9 - 10 Sawtooth
