Bowling night! It's a time for good friends, friendly competition, and of course, delicious shoes... wait, what? Bowling shoes, that is! While they might not be the first thing that comes to mind when you think of expressing your personal style, bowling shoes can actually be a fun way to add a little flair to your game.
Let's be honest, the most important thing about bowling shoes is that they function properly. Bowling alleys typically have slick approaches, and you need shoes that will provide you with the stability and slide you need to deliver a smooth and accurate throw. Most bowling alleys will rent shoes, but these are often generic and may not offer the best fit or performance. Investing in your own pair of bowling shoes can significantly improve your game and comfort level.
However, that doesn't mean you have to sacrifice style for function! Bowling shoes come in a wide variety of colors, materials, and even some with unique designs. You can find classic black and white styles, flashy neon options, or even shoes with your favorite team logo.
When selecting bowling shoes, there are a few key factors to consider:
With the right pair of bowling shoes, you can not only improve your game but also express your unique style. So next time you're heading to the bowling alley, ditch the rentals and step up your game (and your look) with a pair of bowling shoes that reflects your personality. Remember, confidence is key, and looking good can definitely help you feel good on the lanes. Now go out there and strike up your style!
Fast delivery, looks just like the pictures. I wear and purchased an 8.5 amd they fit good. The only negative is there is not as much slider as I was used to but it's easy to adjust to.
Super comfy and cute! My last Brunswick bowling shoes were a size 8, so I took advice of others to get a half size smaller and they fit perfect. They are a bit wide, I do have narrow feet, but can tie them tight enough. I had no problem sliding first time using them, but I also walked around at home on carpet for a little bit first. Not sure if that did anything. Fit nicely in my bag, don't have to jam them under my ball. All-and-all a nice shoe!
The shoes fit well but your feet do slide out the back as mentioned in previous reviews. I am a size 7 in women's for most shoes. My foot goes in perfect, it doesn't feel tight in any areas, but as mentioned the back of my feet slip out. Overall it doesn't bug me as I am not a pro when it comes to bowling, I just walk a little more carefully when I approach the lane. The shoe is cute and I get a lot of compliments on them when I'm bowling. Just be careful not to go at it too fast, you might lose your shoe!
These arrived in perfect condition with slightly damaged original box as advertised. I tried these for the 1st time on a hot humid day and found these shoes cooler than my old ones with enough stretch over my bunions to stay comfortable. The glide on the lanes was good for me. All of this and cute too?? - I am VERY happy with my purchase.
I have a wide foot and often have to buy a shoe that is bigger to accommodate my width. These fit perfectly true to size. I read reviews and ordered a 7, which is my size and I am happy to report a Cinderella story! Not to mention, they are really cute!
Got these for my daughter. Very nice looking shoe. Also very comfortable. Fit is very snug and can wear on the back of your ankle while breaking in. Other than that, perfect. Might consider half size up.
The shoes arrived very quickly - faster than the original time frame provided. They arrived in a Brunswick shoe box and were undamaged. I usually wear a 7.5 in a normal shoe, however, for rental bowling shoes, I typically wear a 7. Ordered these in a 7 and they fit perfectly. The colors are awesome, and bonus, they match my ball great!
I have a size 6 wide foot. I normally can't wear 6.5 comfortably and I don't even try 6. Normally, 7 regular is fine for my foot. If the 7 is narrow, I would go for a wide. I usually don't have to though. I got a 7 and I could barely get my shoe on. The opening is very small to fit your foot through. I am just talking about the opening, not even where the foot rests. I have never had that problem with shoes until I tried these and another pair of bowling shoes. Both brands were stitched this way. There was no elastic. There was no give. There was no need for laces as the shoes aren't going anywhere.Once I managed to get my foot in the shoe, I was disappointed. It is narrow. It is a nice looking shoe. Good quality but poor design. Even a narrow foot would want to be able to have give at the top so the heel goes in easily and so there is a use for the laces. The slide is just like the KR Stryker shoes. Same material. Not super slippery. I wasn't impressed. I like a lot of slide and these just won't give it on the lanes I go to. If your lanes are very dry and slippery already, these will slide fine. Mine are like a new varnish. Feet stop dead in my tracks.
