ALDO Men's Collen Chelsea Boot

Really love the boots. I only wear chelsea boots and these did not disappoint. Paired very well with my light gray suit, kept getting compliments all night. Highly recommended!

I thought these were a pretty sharp looking short boot and am happy with them. I question the long term durability overall based on some of the other reviews I found online but only time will tell because I haven't had them long enough for anything to start wearing out yet. I got one of th suede versions and I think those will have better durability because most of the complaints I read about early wear are related to the glossy leather finish flaking on those versions.The fit is pretty true to size as far as I can tell. I'm usually an 11 wide or a 12 and the 12 fit me fine. I'm not normally super into this style of boot/shoe without laces but it's been better than I expected at fitting securely on my feetThe toe is more sharply pointed than I expected based on the pictures, not sure if that's just how it looks in person vs the pictures or if the shape varies a tiny bit based on what size you are.\They seem well made and have a pretty good attention to detailing on the stitches and materials, etc. Nothing that blew me away or matches higher end shoes but they at least live up to what I'd expect at the price point.

These boots seem to be made from high quality leather and have a good look to them. They are pretty comfortable too but the sizing is a bit tight. I would recommend sizing up especially if you have wide feet. These boots are very narrow and take quite a bit of forcing to get your feet in, but once they’re in it’s very comfortable.For the price they are of very good quality. One thing I did notice was that the sole does shift so make sure you wear socks when you’re wearing these boots.

I’ll start by saying I’ve owned other Aldo products in the past and they are always great quality. This is no different. It’s a soft outside and feels good on the inside. The only downside is it feels 1/2 a size too large. I typically wear a 9.5 and this felt loose on my feet. I prefer a more snug feel, so I’d feel like I’d need to order half a size smaller to get that. Other than that, Aldo quality never fails to deliver and it’s still a great product. It’s a fashionable boot that can go with a variety of outfits, especially if you choose black or a darker brown

I can remember, over 50 years ago, admiring my friends who were wearing Chelsea boots but being unable to copy them because they were all too narrow. When these popped up in my Amazon recommendations, I decided to see if anything had changed. I bought a size up, and the resulting shoe was quite long but absolutely wide enough for me. They're comfortable, and look great!

Black suede, flat pointed toe, low heel, ankle boots. They do run true to size. I wear eleven wide and even with the pointed toe they fit very comfortably. The quality appears to be good. The insole heel is slightly padded. If you like this look you’ll like these shoes.

First, it is a bit hard to tell from the order page pics, but these are a suede boot, which was a surprise since I usually see these as non-suede leather. Nonetheless, they look great and the black boot I got just sucks-in the light so they are black, black, black! Very nice. :)I usually wear an 11.5, so I went with the size 12 and it fits very nicely. The toe box shrinks down pretty rapidly so I'm a little uncertain how a true 12 would fit in these boots since my foot width is exactly perfect a half size smaller than expected. The toe box is VERY long, so that it extends about 2" past the end of my big toe, so these are really long-looking boots.Nonetheless, they are extremely comfy and they slide on easily, the way a Chelsea boot is designed to work. They are shown as genuine leather inside the boot and the fit and finish is excellent. I am looking forward to the winter weather to wear these out. I tend to always have a pair of Florsheim Midtown (or vintage Imperial) boots in my collection and these boots rival the Florsheim in quality and fit.

Just put them on for the first time since it’s been too warm to wear socks. I usually wear this style boot with a side zipper so this is my first with the elastic sides. The fit is perfect. At first I thought they’d be too tight but once slipped into they comfortably wrap for a comfortable and secure fit. The synthetic soles are surprisingly soft and have a more secure grip than my usual leather soles. My only minor gripe is the hook on the back that you grip for sliding on the boots. The loop is too small for me to fit my finger into so I have to try and grip with two fingers. Maybe I’ll get used to the process.Style wise they are sharp and look great with jeans. This gives me a nice alternative to all my black boots. I recommend these.
