This shoe is very fashionable. My wife likes it alot. The only thing is that her ankle area are just a little larger so the high top of this shoe does seem to fit a little tight, although the foot size is good. So just know that if you have larger ankles area, it may be a little tight on the top.

These have held up through a month of heavy wear. I wore them to a punk show, did not trip in them, they still looked new afterward. Someone told me they're very "Kanye-esque" which I can't deny, they're very hip and stylish. It was just a funny tidbit I figured I'd share! The fact I was able to get a half size in boots is phenomenal. ALDO is a good brand to purchase from methinks, they've been able to become carbon neutral which rules! Heavily recommend these!Oh and I cuff my jeans with them, otherwise I personally have a hard time wearing them! They have great stretch, it just doesn't.. look right to me! If you wear super tight pants you may not have to!

These boots slip on easily. Everything but the sole is made of a thick, cloth like material that they call "textile fibres." I love that I don't have to wear socks with them, and the material is actually quite sock-like. For the first wearings though I did use a little liner in case of any rubbing that could cause blisters as I am overly prone to blistering.The soles are thick and chunky, but as big as they are they don't look or feel overly heavy. I look the way they look better with bare legs or skinny pants, as for me when only the toe is visible, say from under boot legs jeans I think they can look too bulky, but with the right outfit I adore them.Size is accurate, I wear and ordered a size 8 and they fit well.

I love these boots. Delivery, for some reason, was quite delayed, so I waited for over a month. But, when they arrived, I wasn't disappointed! This is my second pair of Aldo's sock boots-- the first pair is more dainty, not combat style at all, but slender. These are excellent chunky combat boot style, without the combat boot heft, since the upper is elastic (thick) sock fabric, not leather. They fit well, there is no sliding of the foot. When they're on, they feel snug and fitted; they are constructed well-- your foot doesn't slide around because the upper isn't leather or canvas.They have the same silhouette any combat boot would have, so they look great with cropped jeans or leggings.They fit exactly as expected. I wear a size 10 and these fit perfectly.The soles are really well made, lots of traction. Color is solid black throughout. I REALLY like these.They aren't lightweight, though they're lighter than they'd be if they were leather. The soles are really the same type of sole you'd find on any boot-- they are solid. They are easier to pack than regular boots, though, so that's a major benefit.I wore these all day for a few days. Totally comfortable. We're taking a trip soon, and I can see taking these as my main pair of shoes.Recommended.

Chunky lilac-grey stompin' boots with a sock-like feel. I wear them with cropped jeans, and they look good with bootcut (almost flares) as well. What sold me on them was the unique color, but it is very pale in real life, kind of a ghostly lilac whitish grey. I only wore them twice but got twice that in compliments. But be warned that the light color picks up dirt fiendishly, so probably not a great winter shoe unless you live in a warm climate year round. I've put mine away to sit out the season of snow and mud.

These boots are incredibly comfortable you can walk around or stand for hours without feeling the weight of the chunky heel. They have a cushioned insole that give your feet better support and the stretchy material molds around your feet without applying any pressure. The first time you put them on is slightly awkward and difficult, but once you have them on the boot takes shape to your foot and they are easy to take off and put on. They are true to size, but if you have wide feet I suggest going up half a size to allow your foot to rest on abetter spot. Once you put them on it feels as if you are wearing padded socks with a wide heel. They give any small individual and additional 2 inches and they look great with jeans. I absolutely love them!

These boots are super stylish and comfortable on. Platforms have come a long way and these are easy to walk and not heavy. I love the design on the side of the heel. Even though they are stretch material, they fit snug and don’t show signs of easily stretching out. I normally wear a size US 6.5 but these come in whole sizes, so I took a chance and ordered size 6 based on other reviews but I wished I had ordered a size up as size 6 is a bit snug on me, but they are sized accurately.*** Helpful?
