This is second pair of wexfords and they are great like the first. I have brown and black pair now. You might consider the booker boots as well. I would have but they were unavailabe at time. Buy with no fear. Great boot.
The boot works great so far, and I wear it around the 9 acres of land to do various projects. I bought it because I wanted a boot that was waterproof and could withstand the winter elements.
For the price of these boots it was not a good deal for me. they had no style and look just like a rubber boot bought for Menards at 25 dollars.
I really like the style of this boot but it’s not very comfortable. As another reviewer commented: The heel is so hard that it’s almost intolerable to spend the day walking on them on hard surfaces. I tried adding cork insoles which added some cushion but they’re still harsh compare to other boots I own. I might have not returned them if it wasn’t for two other issues. First, the leather quality isn’t great. For the price, you can find Chelsea boots with a better sole and better leather - in fact Ariat even makes one such boot that isn’t advertised as waterproof. Second, the pair I received wasn’t waterproof which sealed the deal on a return. I had water leaking in around the elastic seam. It may just be this pair but overall I wouldn’t consider these to be a great value.
I loved these, fit well super comfy but after one winter this is what they look like, fell apart, right boot has a hole in it. I do not use these in anything more intense than walking through airports.
