You’re going to love them. I wear them with dresses and tights. They are sooooo warm and comfortable, easy to slip on every day and wear all day. I’m a florist so the waterproof factor helps. They’re absolutely worth the money and I now treasure them. I rarely write reviews but these boots are so perfect and adorable while also being high quality and rugged that I just have to praise them!
These are awesome! I ordered true to size and they felt a little big at first but have conformed to my foot perfectly. They are nice and warm for winter and easily transition from a walk with the dog to date night. Very comfortable and I expect them to last years with the proper care
I bought these shoes for my wife, before we went on a trip to Amsterdam and Paris. We were looking for a good looking shoe that was waterproof, comfortable enough to walk in, and it was a bonus if they looked good. These boots were the perfect shoe for traveling and helped my wife stay dry and comfortable for the 65 miles we walked on our trip. Highly recommend this shoe!
These are beautiful boots (Ariat Wexford Waterproof). Beautiful leather. Many reviewers described them as stylish, but they look a tad more like a work boot to me, as my feet are large and they can't qualify as "cute". I appreciate that Ariat has half sizes above 10, but even then, a half size down was too much smaller than my size, 10.5, which was a little large (mismatched feet). If you want something waterproof and more feminine, try their Women's IV paddock boots, which come in waterproof and not. True to size. They are amazingly comfortable, with a rubber sole inspired by running shoes. Unique boots with a front zip, sleek but enough traction for winter streets. Who would know they are Equestrian boots?? I'm saving these for travel as I can easily imagine walking many miles in comfort.
I love Ariat boots and am loyal to the brand. This is a super cute chelsea boot, while being a sturdy workhorse of a boot. I can wear it outside to do yard work, walking on a rainy day, hiking with the dog on trails or at the beach, and they clean up beautifully to wear out for a day of shopping or out to dinner.Fit is true to size. Not too narrow, toes not pinched in toe box. Virtually no break-in needed. I'm still getting used to where the top of the boot hits my ankle. So far socks are helping with that.
I bought these boots for a 2-week winter trip to Europe, and thank Dolly Parton I did! They are comfortable, totally water proof, have excellent lugged soles, and kept my feet surprisingly warm. I wore them every single day of the trip, netting between 10-25k steps in 25-35' F weather, often on icy and snowy sidewalks, including walking up to and down from Neuschwanstein Castle... in a blizzard. In short, these boots were a lifesaver. After reading some of the more critical reviews, I was pleasantly surprised by how supple and cushy the boots were. Even so, I did make an effort to break the boots in before my trip by wearing them on my daily walks of 2-3 miles. I'm very glad I did that, as it helped me understand how the boots work with my feet and also loosened up the leather a bit. While on the trip, I always made sure to put blister bandaids on my pinky toes (most shoes rub on my outer toes, not just these) and a couple of jumbo bandaids around my ankles where the tops of the boots hit. After that, I was good to go.I must have tried 10-15 pairs of boots before my trip. These blew every single other pair out of the water.
I love these boots. They look great. I wore them for a couple of hours the first day and had no issues. I walked more than 26,000 steps the second day and was worried my feet might hurt. They were comfortable and had no problems at all. I typically wear a size 8, but my ASICS running shoes are an 81/2. I decided to go with an 81/2. They are perfect. I wear a boot sock with them that isn't real thick.
The boot is initially so comfortable and a perfect fit. However, the top of the boot cuts into my leg as I walk. Not a problem at first, but just testing them out and walking around the house I could tell it was going to cause blistering as it was cutting into me. I want to love them because the footing and the fit is very comfortable.
