BEARPAW Emma Tall Youth Boot, Hickory, 4 M US Big Kid

I bought these Bearpaw Emma Tall boots in size 2 for my 9yr old. These are true to size, but you can size up to get two seasons out of them. I have compared these to retail ones that we have, and they definitely seem authentic from everything I can tell. They have all of the correct markings, and I try show them in the pictures.I really like the look of the tall boots, but it's great that you can have the best of both worlds with these, because you can roll the shaft down on these boot and wear them shorter, while also creating a whole nother look. Make sure you roll them down before putting them on, tho!! There's not enough room in the shaft to roll them down after they're on you leg, so keep that in mind. They could go even a bit shorter, but I just rolled them down quickly to show in these pics.Quality: These are made very well. Real suede outside, and real wool blend is used for the inside shaft, and sheepskin is used inside the footbed itself. I love that these do not leave any fuzz behind because they of the wool blend. This is a big deal to me. The Bearpaw brand is really stepping their game up, and are competing with the top of the line Uggs, and for a much better price point. Honestly, in our experience these Bearpaw's are one of the best boots you can buy, and my wallet is happier. My only complaint is that I do wish these youth Talls were a little bit taller, but they're still super cute! I definitely recommend these, which is why I keep coming back. I hope my pictures and experience help give you an idea of what to expect in person.

Bought these for my 9 year old daughter. I got size 5 wide, they fit perfect! No flaws of course! Bearpaw is hands down better then other brands alike!

We get these type of boots yearly for our daughter and she loves them. The last few have been bear paws and they don't disappoint. They last forever. Super comfortable. The color matches with a lot of outfits. Recommend these to anyone.

I saw reviews that said you could size up in these for longer wear but did not fully grasp that the boot legitimately runs a size small and want to be sure others see that. My daughter has a narrow foot and is currently wearing approx a 2 or 2.5 with room to grow in most shoes, so I went a 3 in these thinking they shouldn't ride up on her heels but would still have some room- however her toe is right to the edge. I made the mistake of putting them in her room without checking fit myself first and she wore them all around before telling me they were more snug than preferred- so we are keeping for as long as she can wear. I will order another pair in a different color and a size 4 now. The quality and warmth are excellent, price is super reasonable and as other reviews noted- these have a sturdy/no slip sole which I have found is a problem sometimes with ordering this type of boot at a bargain (we've tried some that were so slick they were a hazard to walk in). These are great boots - just suggest a full 1-2 sizes larger than your child normally wears.
