Love these boots! They fit very well, the toe box is perfect. I wanted a waterproof boot that wasn't like a hiking boot and these are dressy enough to wear for work or everyday casual. They wouldn't be for a lot of snow and ice, but great for those days that walking isn't difficult.
Best slip on Chelsea. I hunted and hunted for a black Chelsea style boot that I wouldn’t have to bend down and pull on. These fit the bill! Super comfortable, very attractive boot that is easy to put on and off but fits securely without a zipper. I’m in love.
They look great, they are SO comfortable (this is what I ALWAYS expect from BORN shoes) and I thoroughly enjoy wearing them.That said.... Two disclaimers:1. They WILL eat your socks. My socks almost always slide down and get sucked in when wearing these, regardless of sock type. I end up going sock-less a lot.2. The insoles slide out EVERY time I take them off. Did I get a defective pair? I don't know. The insoles are not "glued" or sewn in or whatever so they just slide out. Every time.#2 almost made me return these but the comfort level made me rethink that decision.... I kept wanting to put them on! Comfort and versatility won.
After a couple of days wear these boots fit like a glove! I love the fit, and the style these boots are must have!
Beyond comfy. They look great only negative is the right boot sucks my socks off.
I really, really wanted to love these. They are beautiful boots, and for someone with long, flat, skinny feet, they might be great. I have wider feet with high arches that need extra support. I found these to be very tight in the arch area with no room whatsoever for an insert. They were also very long - so both too small and too large - kind of weird. With no zippers, they were very hard to get on. I have wanted Born boots for a while, and am so sad to have to return them.
These are the Chelsea boots I have dreamed of for the past year! They’re a great quality with a comfortable sole and stretchy goring. They’re pretty true to size as well, not too tight or too loose. I think I could wear a thick knit sock with them and they still fit with thin socks. They aren’t too clunky either but still have enough room around my ankle to tuck in skinny jeans. The leather feels to be a good quality and thicker than other boots. I ordered the Flexx Slimmer boot before these and they were actually too slim with not room around the ankle, not the style I was looking for.
I love these boots but too wide for my slightly narrower than medium foot, even with insole. Sad to return.
