This is my first order from Calden and I am very pleased with the quality. I was surprised to get a shoehorn, insoles and to see each shoe packaged in its own cloth cover. Very nice. More than that is the quality and comfort of the shoe. A perfect fit and they look awesome with my suit. I plan to order another shoe for my jeans. I am excited this may be the start of a new look for me as I have struggled to find a shoe that fits with my height. The catalog was a nice addition to save some time researching your product.
I ordered my usual size: 10 .These ankle boots are casual/dress .Being a Military professional, I certainly appreciate the wax/shiny appearance. Durability appears not to be compromised. These boots appear normal, until you put them on,you immediately get a boost/lift to your height There's no problem walking, sitting or standing. Overall, the boots succeeded my expectations. They look good & feel comfortable.I noticed some people are saying;Order smaller or larger. Permit me to dispell that "falsehood " order your "normal" size! These casual/dress boots fit perfectly....& the Sgt Major.....said that !
I recevied item in great condition. Nice color, fits great, but the strong smell of glue or something. I might send them back.
I wore it once so far at a party. they look pretty good. A bit stiff tough, I had to wear them with thick socks, otherwise I felt my foot slipping and sliding in them. They def add couple of inches to your height and make you feel good. I was able to walk around easily and I danced also at the party. But my heels were feeling the pressure. I am not sure if its for everyday use, Will try it for one full day at work and then post update.So far satisfied with the product,

Very nice boot, but choose to keep the wing tip shoes.
I wasn't sure about this shoes and had to try it after reading the mixed reviews.Walking on it takes some practice. So if you are planning to get one of these, I suggest to practice with these on at your home/place for several hours before taking it public. Trust me, this is a man's high heels but you don't want to walk like .... you know what I mean.. lol.These bad boys gives your calves a significant workout if your calves are not well developed or not used to working out, these shoes will give you that, so be prepared. :)You'll feel taller, more confident. This also corrects your posture as the heel forces you whole structure: bum out, stomach in, chest out, head on top of the shoulder! - I use this as one of my coaching tool.Try it! You'll love it!
I found them to be a little small for my feet. I ordered a half size smaller than I normally wear because of other reviews saying they run large but that was not my experience. I have ordered a stretcher and hopefully they will fit better because they clamped my toes together. Other than that they are beautiful shoes.
