I've only just tried them on, but they a very well made pair of boots. Super comfortable right out of the box. I can't wait to wear them to work. I usually buy a size 6 and these fit perfectly. There is plenty of room in the toe box. But I have a narrow foot. I also have a narrow heel, and they do slip a bit. Certainly not worth returning them though. There is some arch support which I really appreciate. I have high arches. Note: they are a little heavy but that is what I expect from a steel toe boot. I am impressed, Great price, got them on sale. I will update after some rigorous time at work.

After adding support inserts, it made these shoes feel like I’ve had them for months.. I walk between 10,000 steps to over 15,000 steps in a warehouse with concrete floors, and needed comfortable steel toe shoes. I did not have to break them in. Wearing them from day one felt like they were made for my feet. Great leather construction. I’m surprised at how comfortable they are. The black goes great with my business casual outfits. I had no feet fatigue. I love them.

They fit nice, look nice, and are comfortable. There’s plenty of room around the steel toe so my foot doesn’t run up against it as I walk. I add an insole so bought a half-size larger and they fit in just fine. They’re comfortable - I’d definitely get these again.

Three and a half years later - moving stars to 5 from 4. Boots wear like champs. Keep in condition with saddle soap, leather conditioner and polish and they'll keep you in great condition. Best footwear I've ever had.Eight months later & adding to my review below. Best work boots I've ever had. Wear almost every work day. Feet are always comfortable and don't know how - but my feet are NEVER cold. Some kind of fantastic breathability of materials and construction- the natural sweating of feet is NEVER an issue. Socks aren't damp and feet are never cold. It's like magic. Would wear these things with a dress if I could.I take a 7.5 Wide; ordered that & found it true to size. Foot was comfortable immediately- no breaking in. Cuffs were stiff against upper ankle first 3 days - just enough to make me conscious of friction but not enough to cause skin abrasion. By day 4 was not aware of it.Steel toe is unobtrusive- don't feel it when foot bends. Overall shoe is not heavy and is comfortable with 15 hour/day wearing. Good shoelaces- like stretchy paracord. Very satisfied with fit, comfort, foot & ankle support & safety in heavy work. This review doesn't cover durability bc I haven't worn them long enough, but based on the manufacturer's reputation for well-made products and my own experience to date, I have no hesitations in recommending them for work around the farm or construction site.

I’m a logistics manager and be in a steel warehouse alot. The quality last and is durable in all the different material in the shop. Don’t irate your ankles, very comfy, and hard toe is reliable.

I have needed rugged work boots for over 20 years now. I had been pretty loyal to another brand for a long time, but started shopping around when they stopped making the 6 inch boots (I live in South Florida, it's way too hot for tall boots!). I'm so glad I found these. As other reviews have noted, they are super comfortable right out of the box. Plenty of support with just the right amount of springy feel in the soles. I was still kind of skeptical until today. I put them through their paces at work today. I feed and care for 21 horses (and one very stubborn mini mule) in all types of weather, on all types of ground surfaces. During the rainy season it's very muddy, often with puddles 3 inches deep with no way to avoid walking through them. These boots handle all of that, and then some. After a full day at the farm, they've proved themselves. The waterproofing is superb, and even in slick mud they have good traction. Here's what made me write this review: I've never owned a pair of work boots that didn't require a week or two of breaking in, usually painfully. The other reviews are right! These really are comfortable right off the bat!! Not a single blister, and my feet aren't sore at all. I've owned about a dozen pairs over the years, almost all were more expensive than these, and these are by far the very best- and they look great! If they hold up for a few good years, I'll be a customer for life.

I prefer steel toed boots for my work landscape gardening. These are fairly sleek, smooth on top so they don’t collect grass and debris. They felt immediately comfortable and supportive on my size 10 wide feet. Lots of room in the toe box. The laces are long and slippery even when double-tied, so I might end up replacing them with a different lace. Good value for the money. Let’s see if they last as well as my first pair ( 6years.)

I’m not sure what it is about women’s work wear that NO ONE can get right. I need to wear composite or steel toe boots for my job and prefer a wide toe. It doesn’t matter what the manufacturer says, every pair of “wide” toe boots I order actually feels like I specifically requested a narrow. If someone out there in the universe can actually make a WIDE work boot for a WOMAN, let me know. I’ll be your first customer.
