After you've spent the day hoofing through woods and trails, treat your feet with the slipper at the intersection of cozy and comfortable. I wear these as a house shoe but they could also be worn outside. Very comfy and oh so warm,
Apparently ignored the description when ordering, these look black online but are actually a super dark purple. Look nice but a bit harder to match with outfits.
I’ve been wearing Chaco sandals for about 17 years, and if I didn’t live in the upper Midwest, it would be chaco’s exclusively. Every year when the snow falls, I’d hesitantly put my sandals away, and I’d hate every moment of the next 4 months. Inevitably, I’d buy 6-7 pairs of different shoes and boots, and hate them all. This year, I purchased these, after fighting myself about how ugly they are. So listen, if you’re here for Chacos, it’s not for their appearance. It’s 100% about comfort. I was actually surprised by them when they came. They look way uglier in the photos than they do in person. They are low profile, not bulky. The upper boot is a medium thickness felt type mayerial. These are not waterproof, they aren’t for rain or snow. These are for the days where it’s too cold for sandals, but you’re going to be dry. They feel exactly like my chaco sandals, and the upper material is easy. No weird seams. No sore spots. The actual sho is really light, lighter than my sandals. I will be buying another pair, and now I’m convinced I need the heavy duty boots, as we do get on avg like 2.5/3 feet of snow over a winter.I bought the same size I wear in their sandals and they fix exactly. If you aren’t familiar with chacos, you can expect high arch support, and comfort. Especially helpful if you’ve got foot issues like PF.
They slip off and in so easily. Very comfy, and cute. Not as ugly as uggs. Material is nice and they’re not heavy. Perfect for running errands, going out, or just wearing around the house. These are not a snow boot, but they do work for quick jaunts in snow ti the mailbox :). I think I’ll buy a second pair, so I can have them if these ever wear out. I think they’re built well so it’ll be a while before I need new ones.
These boots feel more like slippers than shoes you'd wear outside. They are very lightweight and too wide for my narrow feet. Do not mistake these for wool, there is nothing wool about them. Overall they just felt cheap.
Super cute and cozy.. The arch support was pretty good but I wanted a little bit more so I purchased a cheap sneaker insert from Target and are now perfect. Not as warm as I had hoped but I’m fine on a below freezing day with a a pair of wool socks. These are definitely one of my favorite pairs of shoes. In writing this review, I realized I should probably by a 2nd pair.
I'd heard several people rave about Chacos so I thought I would try some. I usually wear a size 6.5 and I ordered these in a 7, but when they arrived I found them to be uncomfortably tight with all but the thinnest socks. The sole and insole were also thinner and harder/firmer than I was expecting. I have Dansko clogs and am used to very cushioned foot support, and I was expecting these to feel more like they do.
Comfortable, cozy. Love the fit, there is a little bit of arch support which is nice. I slipped into these after ski boots, and they have a bit more of a slipper feel, but the soles are thicker and supportive. Not for walking long distances, but I have worn them into the grocery store and they were fine for that.
