Unstructured by Clarks- Perforations in the leather linings mean feet can breathe. We’ve also removed in-sole boards, toe puffs and some of the seaming and made the sole from featherweight materials. So shoes are unbelievably light, soft and flexible.

Clarks, a name synonymous with comfort and quality, began in 1825 with two brothers, Cyrus and James Clark. Their story started with a simple idea: crafting slippers from sheepskin offcuts. This dedication to resourcefulness and innovation has been at the heart of Clarks for nearly 200 years.
Clarks prioritizes both comfort and timeless design. They are pioneers in foot-shaped technology, ensuring a perfect fit and all-day support. Their classic styles have transcended generations, while their commitment to innovation keeps them at the forefront of modern footwear trends.
My fourth Clarks shoes and it's very nice and comfortable as expected like the others I bought earlier. Loved it!
Per the ad the upper is made of something called nubuck. I've read that this is similar to suede. If so, it's a non-fuzzy suede. Reminds me of the leather in lambskin jackets. In the pictures in the ad, it looked like the rubber material in the band along the bottom was of a different shade of black from the upper. When I look at the actual shoe, they match and they're both quite black (the color I ordered.) The leather gleams a bit more. Interestingly, I scuffed one of the shoes this morning and buffed it for a few seconds with an old t-shirt, no polish added. The scuff is now gone. Comparing them later, I can't tell which shoe had the scuff. I've worn them twice.
When I first got these shoes I was very impressed by how light and comfortable they were. This was my after-work shoe for sure. Felt so good getting out of my work shoes and into these. However, there was one issue that I couldn't solve with these shoes while "breaking them in". The tongue of the shoes developed a pucker, both shoes! No matter what I did I could not get the pucker to smooth itself out. I even tried putting shoe stretchers on the shoes hoping that would help smooth out the puckers. No dice. That pucker tends to push down ony toes as I walk around in the shoes. Not comfortable and actually quite irritating over time. Not sure what causes the shoes to do this but other than that, very good purchase.
Very nice shoes
I have wide feet. Not mutant elephant feet, just wide feet. Bad knees from HS sports and serving in the Army, nerve damage in one foot from martial arts. Comfortable shoes are important for my quality of life. The only tennis shoe that I can wear comfortably are the Sketchers wide men's shoes. I was looking for an upgrade in terms of build, style, and overall quality. I ordered and sent back hundreds of dollars of shoes in various styles...until now! FINALLY a comfortable, well built, great looking pair of shoes. Clark's for life.
Good shoe. Wears nicely and fit well.
Very comfortable, classic style sneaker. It's durable, the leather is nice and shiny, and it's exactly what I was looking for. Will definitely purchase again in other colors.
I got these in white. The shoe is otherwise very comfortable and lightweight. However the pair I received had some quality control issues, the glue is applied poorly. I may be picky, but it is a bit sloppy considering this retail for $130.Secondly, the shoe is not exactly white, it is more of a chalk/off white color. Something to keep in mine if you’re looking for a ‘white’ sneaker.
