Love the waterproof nubuck, nice and soft. Well constructed. I like the smoother soles that don't collect mud. The only thing I would want to change is the circumference of the ankle opening. I would make it a bit smaller so the boots would be less likely to slip off in snow or mud.
In person, these boots are more heavy-duty than I expected. Quality leather and stitching which seems like excellent construction. While they are less dressy than I expected, the fit is excellent and I think they'll last a long time. Only thing to note is while the shape and heel are comfortable and there is no rubbing, there is not much padding under the foot bed or arch support. Once I've broken them in a bit I'll put in a gel insert and they will be comfortable for walking all day.
Best boots I’ve ever bought! I’m usually a 9.5 in Cole Haan, but I had to go with a 9 on these, even with thick socks! They’re very comfortable, stylish, and a plus is that they’re waterproof! I’m buying them in black next!
These boots look great, the leather feels good, and once you put them on they break your feet. Something that bummed me out about these Cole Haan's was the insole. As opposed to other designs like the Zerogrand, the insole in these shoes feels like wood. There wasn't enough cushioning and after a while it hurt terribly.
These boots were exactly what I needed for an all-in-one dress up/dress down boot in the winter. I wear them to commute to work and I wore them over the holidays, and they keep my feet warm (with wool socks underneath) while being comfortable and sturdy to walk in. Highly recommend as a closet staple!
The womens 9.5 fits great. Suppke leather; durable, but wears like they are already broken in. Great goft for my wife.
Comfortable, fits perfect. Leather is stiff not soft. Should soften after wear.
The boots are ok. They look shinier in the picture than they actually are. In reality they are a more matte black.
