I ordered the size 6 so my son had some room for heavy socks for the winter, he is 5.5 with other shoes. The size 6 was larger than expected. So, we ordered a 5 1/2 and it was larger than the size 6. I ordered another pair of 5 1/2 and the same issue. Quality control is not so good. We ended up sticking with a size 6 since it was the smallest of the three that we tried. Overall a nice boot for the price but they seem to run large and inconsistent between pairs. Good luck.
