This is my third pair of Docs and they are so cute. I have the platform black chelsea boots and I wanted something a little more casual/everyday so these brown boots with a smaller platform were perfect. I find that with their chelsea boots, the breaking in process isn't as brutal. These didn't hurt my feet at all like the lace up boots did for me in the beginning. They are typical docs sizing which for me always run large. I wear a size 9-9.5 typically, and I always get an 8 in these. The brown leather is so pretty and is supposed to look worn in as you wear them, which I can already see on day one. If you want your boots to look brand new all the time, I would go with the black ones instead.
Perfect gift for my 19 year old!
I absolutely love the way these boots look. LOVE. love the material, the color, the style… really wish they were more comfy. Of course, I doubt they were intended to be worn for 8 hour shifts on a concrete floor, but I was hoping they would do the trick. Bouncing Soles and all. These are actually my first pair of Docs. Always thought they made my feet look big, but I don’t care about that anymore LOL anyway, they could stand to have a little cushion on the inside sole. Maybe insoles are necessary
I bought a pair of these Doc Martin boots at Christmas in black and love them so much. Thought a brown pair would be nice too. First pair I ordered made a load popping noise with each step. Returned and got another pair. Same issue plus the boots were not wrapped so they had rubbed against each other causing blemishes on each boot. (I think they may have been a returned boot) I could have lived with that but the popping noise was just too much!Disappointing

At first, I’m having a hard time to shoot my foot inside but I’m getting used to it . I feel like I’m wearing my 1460 boots so comfy and feel elevated. I love it and nice!
The opening is so small that there is no possible way any grown man could ever got their foot in these. Sad, u really like the way they look.
