Dr. Martens, also known as Doc Martens, Docs, or DMs, has stomped its way into history since 1901. Originally created by Dr. Klaus Maertens, a German soldier who designed a comfortable air-cushioned boot to aid his recovery from a broken foot, the footwear quickly gained popularity. In 1960, the brand we know today was born with the iconic 1460 boot, adopted by British working-class youth and later embraced by various subcultures for its durability and rebellious spirit.
Dr. Martens prioritizes both timeless design and rugged construction. Their shoes are instantly recognizable by their air-cushioned sole, yellow stitching, and utilitarian details. Made with high-quality leather, Dr. Martens boots and shoes are built to withstand years of wear and tear, making them a true investment piece.
I love Docs, but I will be the first to admit there is a painful break-in period with each pair. That is not the case with these. They are comfy right out of the box, fit true to size, and are toasty warm. The best part is that they don't look like a snowboot but function as one. They're sturdier than Uggs and just as warm, all while looking like a Chelsea boot.
I got these for a football game to keep my feet warm and boy do they! They are also very stylish that would could wear with everyday outfits in the winter!
These don’t feel like they’re too big when I try them on but they’re significantly bigger than my other docs, maybe it’s the style? Other than that they’re super cute and comfy on! Love the brown matte color.
By far the most comfortable docs right out of the box…Man this is my first pair of non punk docs and had buyers remorse initially however was pleasantly surprised to find this was completely faux fur lined even the bottom like heavy duty slippers and still present the edge look that suits me. Most mfg cut off the lining where you cannot see. Bought these mostly for work cause my feet are usually soaked and these say water resistant. However now that I’ve received them and see how nice looking they are, I may not use them for work now maybe just for dress up occasions like church.
I recently purchased a pair of Dr Marten Boots, expecting to receive the high-quality, durable boots that Dr Marten produce. However, I was greatly disappointed when I received a pair that did not appear to live up to my expectations. The material felt cheap and was not the usual material you see on Dr Martens, but rather a Timberland Boot. In fact, they looked like a black version of Timberlands. I am extremely disappointed with this purchase and would not recommend these boots to anyone looking for true, Dr Marten quality.
I wish that I would have gotten the product in the picture. No biggie mix ups happen. But I was able to find this pair at the DM shop. Only a better color for me. They're super comfy, fuzzy, and warm. Like always DMs don't disappoint.
I have been wearing docs for 15 years but I never tried their winter boots. I had been trying on winter boots for months from other brands with none of them fitting me correctly, so I thought I'd finally give a pair of winter docs a try. These boots are perfect! The fleece lining keeps my feet super warm, they are super comfortable and felt broken in after 1 day of wear, and the sole seems like it'll do a decent job in icy weather. I only wish I bought these sooner!!!!
I took these boots on an adventure on the snow and on a hike the next day and they didn’t let me down… I did not fall in the snow and they had good grip to the ground! They didn’t hurt my feet as the hike was 4 hours to go and 4 hours to come back! I highly recommend..
