While the first Dr. Martens 2976 chelsea boot was produced in the early '70s, the original style has victorian origins. Farmers loved the sure fit and easy-on, easy-off elastic ankle gusset — kickass style was just an unexpected side effect. These days, The 2976 chelsea boot is a slick, uncompromisingly fashion-forward look.

Dr. Martens, also known as Doc Martens, Docs, or DMs, has stomped its way into history since 1901. Originally created by Dr. Klaus Maertens, a German soldier who designed a comfortable air-cushioned boot to aid his recovery from a broken foot, the footwear quickly gained popularity. In 1960, the brand we know today was born with the iconic 1460 boot, adopted by British working-class youth and later embraced by various subcultures for its durability and rebellious spirit.
Dr. Martens prioritizes both timeless design and rugged construction. Their shoes are instantly recognizable by their air-cushioned sole, yellow stitching, and utilitarian details. Made with high-quality leather, Dr. Martens boots and shoes are built to withstand years of wear and tear, making them a true investment piece.
For these to be “used” they sure look brand new! I love them! Can’t wait for Fall season lol for a little secret get some shoe trees and let them sit for a few days!!! Cause they are tight but beautiful.Thank you :)
I love the way these shoes look & they are great quality but I have worn them multiple days a week for months now & still have yet to have a day that my feet aren’t throbbing by the end of my shift. I have tried every way possible to break them in & that have not gotten any easier, sadly..
I just received these boots yesterday and really like them. I usually don’t buy shiny boots or shoes but wanted something dressy that wasn’t a pair of high heels. These boot are very comfortable and the fit is TTS. I do need to wear thin socks with the boots but that’s ok. They don’t need any breaking in( my feeling is if you need to break in shoes, don’t buy them, it’s a bad fit). But these are great. They will work well with my dressy pants. Cute and comfy.
I like these a lot and wear them more than expected. They are well made. The only thing I don’t love is they hold wrinkles in the crease of your foot. I’ll post a pic.
Boots are as described .... my Daughter loves wearing these Doc Martins ankle boots.
Not very comfortable around the ankle. Do not like how prominent the toe crease is with the patent leather after wearing. Would not recommend
In addition of them being so cute they are also very comfy.I am getting compliments about them DAILY!!!!
My first pair of Dr. Marten boots! Love these so much. Have had no problem breaking them in and I got my true size 7. If you’re looking for a sign to buy them, get them!
