FitFlop Womens Supermod Leather Ankle Boot Shoes, Dark Cherry, US 5

I had an ACL Reconstruction and a Meniscectomy of the right knee in July of 2016. Since then, I also developed Achilles tendinosis on the same leg and plantar fasciitis on the left. During this time, I've been limited to wearing one particular pair of sneakers as they alone helped alleviate most of the pain while walking. These boots, while they do allow me to feel a slightly greater amount of pain than the sneakers, truly are comfortable. Additionally, being able to not HAVE to wear sneakers to work every day, in a professional environment, is such a big plus that it evens out the slight increase in pain. I hated having to wear sneakers every day... I have since purchased four pairs of the Fitflop ballet flats. They should be arriving soon and I'm hoping they're as great as the boots. One thing though, although I wear a size 6, I bought a 7 as my feet are still slightly swollen from the trauma of the past year and I wanted to wear them with Costco's woollen socks. They are a perfect fit without any additional inserts and the wool socks or with the inserts and regular socks/stockings.

I love these-cute and very very comfortable. I intended to wear them with tights or thin socks so they fit perfectly at my usual size. If you want to wear thicker socks or insoles, definitely buy a half size up as these seem to run on the narrow side.

I have a pair of flip-flops that they don't make anymore it just goes around the toe and then something over the arch of the foot this ankle boot is the third ankle boot I have tried from the same company it is extremely uncomfortable my feet sweat and it hurts there is no arch support it is literally straight across flat I am saddened that they don't make my sandal anymore and that it doesn't appear any ankle boots are suitable

I ordered my usual size 8 and they were too snug. I think it is a safe bet to say size up at least a half a size and if your feet are wide these may not work for you. I ordered an 8.5 and I am happy. My foot is low volume, the toes spread out pretty wide when I put weight on my foot but the height of my foot is small, that's why I call it low volume. They boots are really cute and look great with leggings . I ended up with the dark cherry a superb color, I just love it. Not five stars due to the sizing inconsistency which unfortunately is very common with FitFlop that is why I always read the comments before deciding what size to try.

I may have found the most perfect shoe for my needs. I look for shoes that, while looking good, also provide good cushioning and can go all day (work to evening). This shoe is fantastic. Excellent comfort, stylish, and the blue is subtle, and beautiful. The patent leather gives it a nice shine, but there are less shiny leather options too. I've walked extensively in it in just the few days I've had it, and it was comfortable, and didn't lose it's 'new shoe' look. Easy to wear, good looks, great comfort, what's not to like? I ordered two of these! I may just become a fan of the brand FitFlop!

These shoes run small. My mother could barely get them on. The pair I recieved had been worn. They were not packaged with any protective papers- they were just thrown in the shoe box. This pair also had an irregularity on the sole- a big white dot that was part of the rubber. My mother has no idea if they are comfortable for someone such as herself who needs a supportive instep- they were so tight she couldn't tell. Pretty embarrasing birthday gift for mom. There was nothing about this purchase that was satisfactory aside from the prime shipping.

I did buy them half a size bigger and am not exactly sure I really needed it, but they are so comfortable and easy to wear, I just loved the way they looked but was a bit worried about buying online. I am happy to report these are terrific! They are fun, stylish, can be dressed up or down, light and easy to pack, and, mostly just completely comfortable!

Normally wear 7.5s and 8s. I have the FitFlop Lulu in a 7 (everyone seems to size down on the actual flip-flops), and the FitFlop patent tassel Super Oxfords in a 7.5. I wasn't sure which way to go on these, based on other reviews. I decided on the 8. They are roomy enough that maybe I could've gone with the 7.5, but they most likely would have been uncomfortably snug. These are perfect - a beautiful glossy patent with blue undertones that show differently depending on the light - they look great with cropped pants, allowing just a hint of your ankle to show. Perfect with normal-weight "no-show" socks, and I'll have room enough for a thicker, warmer socks as well. Worth the splurge...I have heel issues, including resolving plantar fasciitis and two broken bones, and I can wear these without a compression sleeve or my orthotics. Go for it!
