The appearance and quality of these boots are just as hoped for. They seem somewhat narrow for a 3E, but I believe they will be fine after they are broken in. I plan to get another pair of Florsheims from Amazon soon. Thanks
The boots do not fit as well for me as the Duke boots. They are about an inch and a half in the toe Otherwise they look great.Thank you,Gary

I wore Florsheim boots for many years back in the 1970's and 80's. They used to be the Best. I ordered this boot to be delivered to the USA, to wear when I returned from an overseas assignment for the holidays. The boots looked good out of the box but then.. a little tight and NO INSOLE.. just bare leather in the mid foot toe area. I had to buy a pair of inserts for cushioning. I wore them 2 days and found the sole leather to be of very poor quality the outer sole decentigraded like cardboard. The soles were worn to the stitching in 2 days. I could not return the boots as I needed them to wear in the States over the holidays. I have had to have rubber soles put on them and new heals; as the heal rubber chunked off in two weeks. These boots are made in India.. POOR Materials. They have the Florsheim look and name but are of POOR material quality. I could not return them as I had to wear them back to my assignment overseas. No more Florsheims for me.
The look
Basically, I have only worn nothing but Florsheim zipper boots since 1965. I find them to be very comfortable.
My husband wore this type of boot for many years but recently we have not been able to purchase at local stores. He is very happy to have a new pair that he wears as dress shoes.
